Apart from some initial confusion
Apart from some initial confusion about whether breakfast had been included in the price paid, everything at reception was handled in a friendly and professional way. The room was compact and clean, though the eco policy regarding towels was not followed as outlined. The special offer we received of $129 a night was deemed to be very good value and if it were always available at this rate we would definitely make it our place to stay in Melbourne.

Great price and very centrally
Great price and very centrally located. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Melbourne. Room size was especially good compared to other hotels at similar or more expensive prices.

This hotel is a very nice find
This hotel is a very nice find in central Melbourne. It is tucked away from all the street noise, in a laneway between Collins and Little Collins Streets. There was no view from our room but we prefer quietness to having a view. The price was good and the room was neat and tidy.

The hotel was close to everything
The hotel was close to everything and not knowing what to expect, was a pleasant surprise in all aspects of my stay. I would definately stay there again. The staff were also friendly and helpful with anything I needed to know.

Only stayed one night but we were
Only stayed one night but we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite which was great. It was very clean and spacious. Only fault we could find was that the couch was a bit hard, which sounds harsh, but it really was! Would definitely stay again though as we thought it was good value for money.

The hotel is well-equipped and comfortable, with helpful staff. Breakfast is provided, and it was very convenient to be able to have it in the hotel as we stayed during the Easter holidays, when it would have been less easy to have it at one of the cafes nearby. We enjoyed our stay there. We had previously stayed at the Hotel Causeway, which is similar and also pleasant, but found the position of Causeway 353 (a little further along Little Collins Street) rather noisier and potentially less secure for anyone returning later.
