The hotel room was clean and looked very chic. Two twin beds, mini refrigerator and a shower. The tv was a little old but worked fine. The staff was very friendly, was able to answer all our questions. Our room was cleaned everyday, even when we posted the do not disturb sign, oh well nothing was stolen. Internet was available to buy, a little expensive but you can find free internet at several other locations in the city. Location was great, lots of cafes in the area and tram was right across the street. The club music didn't bother us on the weekends but we were on the 4th floor. Overall great place to stay.

Easter holidays
I have stayed at so many hotels in the great city of Melbourne, but never at the Citiclub, so wanted to try it out this time, and I found it to be just perfect. It is situated right in the heart of Melbourne, within good walking distance to shopping, restaurants and transportation. The hotel also has it's own little gift shop and cafe where they serve a full English buffet breakfast which actually costs AUD 14/-, but this was included in my room rate and I couldn't have asked for anything better! I believe they also serve a buffet lunch, but everyday, soon after breakfast I went out, so did not have the chance to try their restaurant for lunch. Adjacent to the hotel on the left hand side was a well stocked bottle shop and on the right hand side was Pie Face where you can get all your favorite Australian meat pies and sausage rolls. The hotel front desk also keeps fresh apples for the guests if they wish to grab one any time! Very friendly staff and from now on whenever I am in Melbourne, I will make it a point to only stay at the Citiclub.

Just a short walk in any direction you get all sorts of restaurants and also food courts that serve a good variety of food. Also at a nearby McDonalds you can use their free WI-FI.

Conference location chooses hotel
We stayed at this hotel as it was the location for a conference we attended. We were on the 7th floor, so further from the noise of the night club. Friday night was the loudest. Aside from that, we had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the cafe next door.

The hotel was great, except for the single beds, we should have been notified about that, so maybe inquire about that when you book. But overall very happy with the hotel, little bit noisy but not a problem, it has to be expected with the nightclub. But I would definately stay again.

Love Visiting Melbourne !!
Location Plus - quality lacking
The location is great however I was dissappointed in the overall standard of the room. For $100 it was value however I would have preferred to pay say another $20 to be able to stay in a room which was in better condition. Whilst clean, the overall feeling was old and tired. The bathroom basin had a major crack in it - surely this is something which should be replace also the room had an odour - perhaps a room freshener had been used to try to cover up a previous tenant who had smoked? If you want something cheap in a great location this would be ideal for you but if you want something a bit nicer and more comfortable - look at your options - there are lots.

Was on the 7th floor so noise
Was on the 7th floor so noise was not a problem. Had a great stay, the room was clean, reception was very accomodating. Didn't use any of the facilities. Internet however is expensive!

We enjoyed our stay very much
We enjoyed our stay very much indeed - the Hotel was central to everything and the stff were extremely helpful. We sincerely appreciated being able to access our room on the Friday morning, having not been able to sleep on the 2am flight from Perth. We will certainly use the CitiCub Hotel Melbourne when we come to Melbourne again. We love Melbourne, and hope to be able to make more frequent visits in the future. Glenys & Kevin Salmon

My husband and i stayed at CitiClub
My husband and i stayed at CitiClub last weekend with our two young grandsons,i had had trouble trying to find some where to stay for the four of us without spending a fortune, on a 2 bedroom appartment but then through Hotel Club i found CitiClub they were only to happy for us to stay one of their motel rooms making the couch up into a double bed at a very reasonable cost which included breakfast. The location was ideal as we took the boys to the footy at the M.C.G and the aquarium. Staff were very helpful which is a bonus for country people visiting the city Thank you CitiClub. Jill
