Situated in the heart of the city, opposite the Rialto Towers, Oaks On Collins is a fabulous apartment hotel comprising of superbly appointed, self contained New York style studios. Each luxury studio features contemporary design and state-of-the-art kitchen facilities with stainless steel appliances, while hotel facilities include common laundry facilities, a business centre, breakfast & dining options at the First Floor restaurant & bar, swimming pool, gymnasium and sauna. 'First Floor Restaurant & Bar' provides guests with breakfast and dinner with gorgeous views over the leafy tree-lined Collins St. The hotel's relaxing lounge bar is also the perfect place to enjoy a pre-dinner drink with friends! Room was fine with nice decor

Room was fine with nice decor but the staff seemed a bit inexperienced but nevertheless friendly. Shower in the room was very small and it felt like it was designed for a caravan. Food at restaurant wasn't nice and overpriced.

We enjoyed our stay at Oaks on

We enjoyed our stay at Oaks on Collins. The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The only let down was at check out when the lady serving us was rude and didn't ask us about our stay. A great time up until the end.

Arrived at 6pm only to be told

Arrived at 6pm only to be told that our room wasn't ready! We were offered another room which was small and slightly soiled on the carpets. However the service and food was excellent and being situated on Collins street was very handy to shopping and the Crown casino. Staff were very pleasant.

Loved the room BUT the bathroom

Loved the room BUT the bathroom is way too small; no where to put your hairdryer or make up bag as there is no bench space at all. The bathroom facilities are about a metre wide by 2-3 metres long and it has a shower, toilet and handbasin so everything is squeezed in. Apart from that, the room was clean, good facilities within the hotel and the room was good with kitchenette, couch, desk and comfy bed. Good service at the hotel as well.

We were pleasantly surprised by

We were pleasantly surprised by what we uncovered by staying at the Oaks on Collins. Our studio room was very comfortable and clean. We were well equipped for an extended stay-well past the 2 nights we were booked for. The facilities available were extensive (restaurant, bar, gym, pool, sauna, conference room) and it was a shame we weren't there long enough to enjoy them all. Location was perfect with many other conveniences within walking distance. Street/traffic noise was a non-issue. Only hiccup was the disappointing service received upon collecting our car from the ajoining car park facilities available, but overall a very pleasant experience and will stay at Oaks again when next in Melbourne.
