Overpriced, overrated
Stayed 2 nights. Rooms are well appointed, but the devil is in the details (which Sofitel prides itself for...). Surcharge for every detail, $30 for 24hr internet access, 1.5% charge for using a credit card, etc. To top it all off, when I forgot my laptop's power supply in the room (and I know for certain that I did), I was told that nothing was found in the room. My interpretation is that nothing was turned in. Never mind the cost of buying a new supply - the real nuisance was the headache of finding one while traveling. Not the kind of house-keeping values or service that I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Very disappointed!

We love the Sofitel. We have stayed here before and couldnt wait to return. The views from everywhere are fantastic. The Club Sofitel is excellent. Worth upgrading to this. Drinks every evening, and good canapes to go with it. The breakfast was also very good. Will be back.

Top class hotel as you would expect
Top class hotel as you would expect with the ACCOR group. Stayed here for our daughter's wedding..and received a lovely bottle of champagne to our room. Very comfortable beds, and spectaular views!
