The Chatea Yering Hotel is a collection of elegant period buildings with entry to reception via a verandah frontage. Our suite was on the second floor via an adjoining building, which we accessed through the light and airy breakfast and lunch area.
The suite was quite spacious, with a generous king-sized bed sharing the living area with a dining table, lounge and sitting chair, The TV and DVD player were concealed within a cabinet with recessable doors.
The bed seemed to be quite soft, but we found that it provided a very good night's sleep with no back ache at all.
The bathroom contained a shower, separate bath, toilet and bidet, basin and plenty of space.
The breakfast on the following morning was very good with a buffet selection of cereals, fruits and bakery items, which could be followed by one of a selection of hot breakfasts.
The cost of an overnight stay was significant, but was considered worthwhile to be able to stay in such wonderful surroundings.
