Miss Maud Swedish Hotel Perth

A boutique style hotel with some very nice touches. Provided you get a good room, it can be a delightful place. The breakfast is included in the price and makes it very good value. The staff are also very attentive.

Very chic and classic hotel. Very interesting lift. Very near shopping malls and a number of reasonably priced restaurants within walking distance. Can do better on the sound proofing in room though. Also, can be tricky if you drive as there is no in-house carpark, but opposite a multi-storey carpark. A good spread of breakfast and it's delicious! Will definitely consider Miss Maud again if I return to Perth.

buffet breakfast was AMAZING!!! and loved the little Miss Mauds bakery that was right next to the hotel so you could buy yourself a little treat. Bathroom was so clean and modern! tv was great: a HUGE flat screen with movie channel. Location was perfect... LITERALLY walking distacne to city centre and train station. Highly recommend this hotel to all (that's if you get a bargain deal like i did with [this website]). very pleased and still stunned at how great my stay here was

This is an older style hotel, and no apologies have been made for it. In fact it is beautifully decorated and has a nice feel. The only complaint we had that we ordered some beverages from room service and they arrived opened. If we had not wanted to drink all of them we could not keep them for later. Apart from that all was great, and staff took on board our comment about this. Would go back again.

Rooms are small and pricey but the breakfast is fantastic. Thats the reason i stay there!

Generally a good hotel, well kept, efficient staff. The room, a single, wasn't large, but was adequate. My only real complaint is that there is little drawer space, and most of the closet is occupied by the refrigerator/mini-bar. (The fridge was also a bit noisy.) So I didn't really unpack - OK for three nights, but for a longer stay it would have been more annoying. The location is good, in the center of Perth near the pedestrian malls. Plenty of stores, including a grocery available in the daytime. But almost everything shuts down about 6PM, so the only restaurants open are in hotels (including this one). It's near a stop on the free Red Cat bus service, and the airport shuttle picks-up across the street. The shower/water pressure/temperature were excellent, although somewhat sensitive. But in the British tradition, they don't have washcloths. And the towels were rather scratchy - I realize hotel towels see a lot of use, but these were really at the low end of the scale. The buffet breakfast included with my room was spectacular, probably the best I've ever had. Eggs, pancakes, sausage, french toast, cold cereal, pastries, juices, coffee, tea, and on and on. Really great (and available to non-guests who pay also). Overall, I was satisfied for the price I paid here, and would return.

Room was immaculate and well appointed although a lot of footstep noise from the floor above became annoying. The included breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Friendly staff. Great location - would definitely stay there again.

A little cosy unique hotel. If you like something different than normal modern hotels, you may choose this hotel. Its pretty clean, bright room with newly renovated bathroom, but the room is quite small though and you may need to carry your luggage for few steps as the lift is very old and it doesnt stop at every levels (no porter). However, they have an excellent buffee breakfast.

The inclusion of buffett breakfast was superb. Food was marvellous and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again when in Perth.

Ich bin in Sweden aufgewachsen. Die totale Swedische aussmuchung von dem Hotel hat mir Heimweh gebracht. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage is exellent, das Zimmer hat alles was nötig ist, aber nicht mehr Das Essen ausgescheichnet. Der Früstücksbuffet (sehr reich) ist in Preis inbegriffen. Fantastisch, einTraum das "Smörgasbord" für nur 37$. Nicht einmal in Sweden habe ich so gut gegessen! Ein grosses Lob für Miss Maud!
