Great option to visit the city
Walking distance from the train station and to the Old city. Nice wellness area with a gym, a small pool, a sauna and a steam room open until 11PM. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but overall it's a great deal.

Decent hotel
Good location almost exactly halfway between the train station (5 minute walk) and old town (8 minute walk). Staff was very friendly throughout my stay except when I went ten minutes over the checkout time of 11:00am. I am used to late checkouts because of my status with Marriott and Starwood. Rooms were small and claustrophobic but clean. Only offered shampoo but no conditioner.

Coffee house across the street was outstanding with a very friendly staff. It is called Capp & Cino.

Comfortable hotel, helpful staff. Salzburg is a beautiful place...nice place, good eateries and the people are so proud of Wolfgang Mozart yet make a ton showing and selling Sound of Music

There is a restaurant in Old Salzburg called Hertzl which serves up a wonderful old "local" menu.

The Pitter--great hotel & location!
when we returned to the hotel~10pm & realized the cleaning lady didn't replenish our coffee,sugar,cream packets, the front desk had them sent up in ~ 1minute! re. the location: extremely convenient to the train stn.(~7 min.walk maybe-to your right as you exit). exit lobby & go left & there is a stall 1 block down (same side of st) that is open until 11pm that sells all kinds of hotdogs/sausage dogs,etc. plus 3e for 0.5 liter beer. we got the large hotdog for 2.80e--this is good for a late night option just 1 block f/ hotel. also, if you go left out of lobby on Rainstrasse, take a left @paris-lodron & there is a great laundromat on your rt.@the corner of wolfe-deitrich ~5min.walk.

if you exit right out of the lobby(toward train stn) there is a Subway sandwich shop (like in the usa) across the street (look left) about 1-2 blocks down.

Not flexible with emergencies
Our flight to Salzburg was cancelled due to weather. I called the hotel as soon as I had the news. Although I called in advance and it was not our fault to miss the vacation, the hotel did not refund anything out of the 3-night reservation. This was the first time for us, that a hotel did not refund something due to emergnecies. I will not choose this hotel again. The staff on the phone was unpleasant.

good location with 15min walk
good location with 15min walk to the centre.breakfast was ok but the space is abit small when crowded and kitchen staff slow in refilling the empty baskets/plates with food or clean tea pots...ect.furniture quite old &out dated but clean

Great Location and Hotel
Great location, close to train and Mirabel gardens. 15 minute walk to Hohensalzburg Fortress, a must see. Check in was snap and hotel staff friendly and helpful.

Nice location in a very nice town
I went to Salzburg on a business trip. The hotel is good located, not far from the very center of the town. Clean room and nice staff made the stay pleasent.
