Newly renovated beautiful city center hotel in Vienna, in close proximity to the ring road. The hotel offers 170 rooms (111 non-smoking), a breakfast room, garden terrace, bar and seminar rooms. We are located in a small side street in the old town and most of the rooms look out onto the quiet and leafy courtyard. The Rathausplatz, Stephansplatz, parliament, museums and Museumsquartier, Hofburg and Mariahilfer Straße are within easy access. A buffet breakfast is served daily until midday.

The Levante Parliament is a member of design hotels. The original building dates back to 1911, and is a perfect example of the Modernist architecture that was initiated by the Vienna School and Bauhaus. Its main characteristics, still evident today, are an emphasis on rationalism, the elimination of ornament and the use of technological advances in materials that allow for flexibility in design. These are also the guiding principles by which the multidisciplinary team of architects, designers and artists transformed the building into an innovative space that integrates a gallery and the hotel. The glass design objects by artist Ioan Nemtoi have not only been given 4.600 square metres of prominent exhibition space, Nemtoi was also instrumental in the design of the restaurant and bar area. The undefined borders between gallery and conventional hotel space have resulted in a challenging fusion of art and contemporary design. The vision for The Levante's overall design concept is based on an interpretation of the four natural elements -transparency and light represent fire, the natural building materials symbolise earth, the generously sized rooms with 3, 3 metres ceiling height stand for air, and the lineal forms and flexibility represent water. A range of core materials including light natural stone, glass, chrome and dark mahogany wood were selected to communicate the relationship to nature and harmonise with the classical modern design of the building.

The family-run Hotel Donauwalzer is right next to the underground station Alser Strasse (U6). It offers direct tram connections to the centre of Vienna. Here you will find modern, individually furnished rooms, 2 elevators, a wellness area with Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi, infrared cabin and relaxation beds (for a fee of EUR 12,00 per person/day), a 24 hours opened bar, a conference room and a leafy courtyard (summer) to relax. Unfortunately our hotel parking places are right now under renovation. We reserved places for you at a public garage (in walking distance) for a charge. Discounted tickets are available at the reception desk which is open for you 24 hours. We do offer free WLAN for 1 hour at our bar and the cafe.

Simple but good quality 3-star hotel - this hotel comes highly recommended. PL 03/09 A traditional, 4-storey building. In Vienna's 8th District near City Hall, with easy access to the underground system leading you to Vienna's main tourist attractions. Also walking distance from the museum quarter.

A good choice for the traveller looking for a budget hotel which is relatively centrally located. PL 05/08 This is a modern building. The hotel is located in Vienna's 17th District in a quiet residential street. Public transport is very close by with a tram linking the hotel with the famous Ringstrasse. The tram stop is Alserstrasse.

This hotel is small and simply decorated and is located in a side street. PL 12/07 This is a traditional Viennese-style hotel. Located in the North part of Vienna with convenient access to the centre. There is a tram stop near the hotel, which will take you into the centre of the city. Alternatively, a metro station, Alser Strasse, is located 400 metres away.

While rather basic, the accommodation is good value for money and the location reasonable. PL 02/09 The building is modern in design. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area of Vienna's eighth district.

The famous landmark of Vienna - the Stephansdom, the Hofburg and the State Opera House - are not far away. Superbly located in the Josefstadt district of Vienna just off the Ring strasse. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the area and the hotel is next to Vienna's "Theatre in der Josefstadt".
