Hotel Imlauer Wien

Very comfortable and affordable. The only complaint is location, but it's near a subway and only 1 stop away from the Prater.

The Jr Suite was large and perfect for 2 adults and one child, but would not be good for 3 adults due to the child bed being small. Newly renovated bathroom is lovely with big shower, but no tub. Room was cleaned well daily with one small complaint, the teaspoons provided for coffee were never washed. Having a mini fridge in the room was super. Wood floor was not only a nice touch, but also meant no allergy issues or smells. We were on the top floor with windows on both sides of the room and it was bright and airy. Bed and bedding were both very comfortable. 2 large flat screen TVs (only 2 English channels and Video On Demand was not working when we were there). Really appreciated the 2 complementary bottles of water provided daily. Overall, a really nice room. Location is very good, 5 minutes walk to metro, supermarket, bakeries, and bars all nearby. One request would be to have a coffee service in the lobby. Would have loved to be able to buy an espresso without leaving the hotel (there was a bar, but did not offer take out coffee) The chocolate truffles offered at front desk were amazing. That was an extra special touch. Front desk staff all very polite (not chatty by American standards, but certainly answered questions when asked). Mona, who worked the night shifts, was the best. Always greeted us with a big smile and extremely helpful! I did use the new sauna once after a day of skiing. Made me feel less sore for sure, Just know the sauna is co-ed, so clothing is required (the hotel provides bath robes, but a bathing suit may be easier). We would definitely stay there again.

Big rooms, helpful staff, very reasonable pricing. A very short walk from the subway station and easy access to the rest of the city.

A very pleasant hotel, only a ten-minute walk from the city centre passing by the Sofitel on the way with its fabulous 18th-floor panoramic bar and Stilwerk interior design shops.

Excellent hotel near taborstasse and nestroy ubahn. My complaint is typical for me in Europe. Mini frig to small and not cold enough, even after I had staff repair it. No climate control for the room. So cold in the day and hot at nite, as it was winter. Nothing new since every hotel in Europe I have been is like this. Bed was also not like plush American style. Great hotel for Europe and great price. I had two floor junior suite.

Love the Imlauer located in the 2nd district of Vienna. Nice and friendly staff, very comfortable, wi-fi galore, and about 15 minutes walk from the Stephansdom. I am repeat guest; the value is exceptional.

Hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Rooms are lovely, and hotel is located close to metro stations and within easy reach of Vienna's main attractions. On the down side, hotel staff are not particularly welcoming or helpful. Found it very difficult to get their attention on any occasion, or get any information from them whatsoever.

This was an excellent, modern, and clean hotel, convenient to mass transit, cafes, and stores. It was also reasonably priced.

Our room was very modern, cleanm - simply lovely! We were in walking distance of the Prater and the subway. The hotel staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful! The breakfast (although pricey 17 Euro) was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to be out of the inner city and near the Prater.
