Dissapointed (Not 5 Star Standard)
Took us one and a half hours to check in and told us that they have a special room for my wife and I. We were shcoked at the size of the room as it was tiny and the bathroom was old just like the room. Chipped cheap furniture. We complained and eventually upgraded us to s delux room which was a slight improvement. Internet was not free and very expensive. Staff attitude was not good. All in all we will never stay at this hotel again. Make sure before you go to Vienna you do your research if you decide to stay at this hotel with regards to slight seeing as there knowledge of the place was minimal and not very helpful.

Really good experience.
Every thing was just perfect. The check in was very friendly , fast and efficient. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and nice linens. We enjoyed the beautiful bar and ate at the restaurant, again really good service. The steam room and sauna were also really nicely done and very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent weekend break
Fantastic hotel although additional expenses were expensive (the bar prices and 29 euros for breakfast in the restaurant - we ate out). The gingerbread house coffee bar was lovely and the Christmas decorations throughout looked beautiful. A good location, 10 mins walk from St. Stephen's cathedral and centre of town. Check-in was friendly and quite quick. The concierge was very helpful in recommending an authentic Austrian restaurant. The only negative was our room position, right next door to the lift (avoid room 246 if you are a light sleeper!).

New Year's Ball
The hotel was nice, nothing extraordinary. Beds were quite comfortable. The bar and the breakfast prices were steep. We paid 29 Euros each for a breakfast buffet, so if you can get breakfast included. Also they charge 15 Euros per day for Internet access, which, by the way did not work despite their three tries to get it connected in our room. Go to any McDonalds or Starbucks for free Internet access. At this point, every hotel should have free Internet. I would not stay here again considering the prices of food, drink, and Internet, especially considering there are so many hotels to choose from.
