- The comfortable rooms (35 - 50 sqm) are furnished in warm colors and consist of seperate living room, sleeping room with double bed and bathroom. They include AC, kitchenette with microwave, mini bar, direct dial telephone, cabel TV, safety box and a writing desk.

- Located directly on Europes longest shopping street, the Mariahilfer Strasse, the NH Atterseehaus is the ideal starting point to explore the city by walking. The metro station (line U3) is directly in front of the hotel and takes you within 8 minutes to the Stephansplatz. All Viennas main attractions can be easily reached by foot or public transport. Many restaurants and bars are nearby.

- Our breakfast restaurant is located on top of the building on the 7th floor. It is furnished with dark wood and warm tones. Large windows are making the room very bright and friendly. Our comprehensive breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. In summer you can have your breakfast outside on the roof top terrace with an overwhelming view over the city of Vienna.

Excellent customer service
Upon arival we were greeted by a very helpful and accomodating staff. All of our questions were answered in a quick and exacting manner (Directions, restaurant recommendations(quite good), use of a voltage converter). Wake up calls were prompt as was the request for taxi service. This was equal to other NH hotels I haved stayed.

Short walk from hotel
Sternbrau 7 was a very good restaurant and brewhouse. The menu was varied and they brewed their own beer in several styles. It was always busy with local clientele. It was abount 6 blocks from the hotel,an easy walk.

We were assigned two smoking rooms
We were assigned two smoking rooms by default. The default should be non-smoking. Asked to change the first night and hotel said a triple room was not available, however we could replace our double room. Next morning I called again and somehow a triple room was now available. The next night was fine in non-smoking rooms. Then the third night we could smell cigarette smoke again in one of the rooms (we had booked two rooms). The staff just came up with a spray to mask the smell, did not offer to change rooms or give discount. Disappointed with this because of price and the fact that they consider themselves a 4 star hotel.

Fantastic Vacation and Great Location
The Staff was excellent. Very responsive and helpful. We were able to travel the city, find museums, etc. with the help of the staff. The rooms were clean and they served a great breakfast. The location was ideal to see the city of Vienna. I will will visit Vienna again and I will stay at the same hotel.

The location is excellent, it
The location is excellent, it is located in a main shopping street. There is a metro station just in front of the hotel, with 10-15 minutes you can walk to the West Railway station. The room is large and comfortable and have a sitting area and a mini bar.
