Overall, it was a postiive experience with clean rooms that are well appointed. Room service was prompt and very reasonably priced. The staff, while I didn't need to use them often were accomodating. There was one issue, as I had to change rooms in the middle of the trip due to some unusual conidtions for Bahrain, heavy rain. The heavy rain caused leaking around my window. The staff changed my room assignment and upgraded based on the inconvenience.

The hotel was very prompt with my late check in and the room was perfect the way I booked it. When I had time on my hands, they were very attentive to my needs and helped me get set up on an island tour. I would stay here again!

The hotel had everything as advertised. The hotel is right in the middle of a Manama residential district, so the hotel is the only source of nightlife available. This also creates traffic jams on the rather narrow street outside the hotel.
The staff was attentive, room service prompt, and the room was nice and comfortable. Probably not recommended for non-smokers, non-drinkers, and people averse to people honking their horns at all hours of the day or night.

I'm a flight attendant and stay in many hotels around the world. This hotel was very nice. The location is great views of the sea. The rooms are very large and beds comfortable. The staff was very willing to assist with anything. If you needed a taxi the only ones that they would call are unmarked cabs, if you stay here walk to the end of the block and catch a metered cab. The only part that was not nice was that I could hear the music from the disco and belly dancing till about 4am. I was on the top floor of the hotel (11th).

The room I was in was not I am expecting especially when the Fridge was not working and empty. The shower was a disaster, I have to call the front desk to get someone who actually know how to fix it. The only thing that I like in that hotel was the Coffee shop and Diggers bar.

The Gulf Gate Hotel in Bahrain is old and tired and noisy if your room is located near the Disco. It has few facilities. No Tea, Coffee, Kettle, or Hair Dryer in Room. Shower was good, Air Conditioner worked well. Taxi rank around the corner. Breakfast was Ok. Staff were friendly

The Elite Seef Residence is located in a great area. We stayed in a two room apartment and it was the best apartment we have rented. The master bedroom (king bed) is on the opposite side of the other room. It has it's own bathroom as well as a tv and two easy chairs with a coffee table. The room is very large. The bathroom has a full bath and was quite larger as well. It had a triple closet. The other room had two single beds, a desk and closet. The bathroom for this room was outside the bedroom door. It had a shower, toilet, sink and was quite large as well. The kitchen was small, but had a full size refrigerator and enough space to work in. The dining room and living room were connected. The table sat 6 people easily. The living room had a full size couch, a loveseat and one chair. It had a full entertainment center (tv, dvd player, stereo, etc.) and was easy to use. They came in everyday and gave us clean towels. The people were friendly. My only complaint is that I had received a phone call and the person calling was cut off twice and they didn't leave me a note letting me know someone was trying to reach me. I would have appreciated a note, so I could have decided what to do. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This property offers an excellent standard of accommodation and there is also a rooftop swimming pool. ME 07/08 A modern, rectangular office-type building. Located in central Manama, between the Dana and Bahrain shopping malls. It is also opposite Bahrain International Exhibition Centre. The airport is only a short drive away.
