Not a luxury all-inclusive
food- had worse-Asiago's was very good but closed on Sunday. Reservations had to be made every morning a bit of a pain but we always were able to eat where we wanted but not at the time Room- not bad but, no beverages in room, a/c was terrible, shower had a half glass door half the water went on the floor, amenities not stocked. Clean and great view from ocean front room Beach- beach butlers were awesome always found a chair for you and the friendliest people at the resort. Water was a bit rough but fun if you like waves beach front gets smaller as the tide comes up but not a problem. Pool- strange, stairs were limited water was a bit dirty but not too bad. no pool bar really sucked

Dreams are fullfilled at Turtle Beach
Without doubt, my recent stay at this fabulous hotel with my son (16) and daughter (19) for 10 days fullfilled and indeed exceeded all of my expectations. We stayed in an Ocean front room, with the best view EVER ! Whilst there we took full advantage of all complimentary water sports. The hotel staff were, without exception, very courteous and always had a smile. The food in all restaurants was first class. If you want to be miserable, don't go ! if want to have the best time of your life, BOOK NOW,

Turtle Beach By Elegant Hotels
My wife and I had absolutely great time at turtle beach. The entire staff at the resort were just great and extremely helpful. The beach was gorgeous, but the ocean waves and currents made it risky a few days during our stay to take a dip in the ocean water, but luckily they were two decent size pools that can be used as an alternative. Meals served during breakfast, lunch and dinner were all pretty good. The downside of our stay was the wifi/hi-speed internet wasn't included in the all-inclusive. The wifi/hi-speed internet was extremely slow, and cost us $100 US for 7 days. I don't think it was worth it. The resort itself have an internet cafe that patrons can use as an alternative. Overall our stay was a 4 out of 5. The room and resort were extremely clean, the hotel's decor was superb, and it was in walking distance of St. Lawrence gap if you're into the night life. This was the second time my wife and I have visited Barbados, and this resort will definitely see us again if we come back to the island.

Great Family Vacation!
My wife 14 year old son and I stayed at the Turtle Beach Hotel in Barbados from July 9th through July 16th and had a fantastic experience. The room was nice and view was great. The staff was friendly and service was excellent! Never had to wait for a drink nor a beach cot. The booze was name brand. The beach was beautiful...white sand and crystal clear water. The beach staff took great care of us. We were always able to reserve a table at the a'la'carte restaurant(s) (they rotate the regular a'la'carte with the two buffet restaurants so there is a different a'la'carte choice each night). I recommend booking the a'la'carte the night before because if you wait until the next day you may be left out. The breakfast and lunch buffet menu changed little but the food was good and there was plenty. Although I would have liked a little more variety. The dinner buffet was good but like most buffets, some dishes you liked and some you didn't. Entertainment was basically limited to a different band and singer each night with the exception of one night in which they had a Caribbean show. If you want more than that, you need to visit one of the clubs a block or 2 down the road (St Lawrence Gap). We took a trip to the sister hotel and spent the day on their beach and ate in their restaurants (all included) for variety. We spoke to a lot of tourists staying at other hotels and they didn't seem as happy about their hotel choice as we were. This was our 6th all inclusive vacation. This hotel was more quaint then the others and I really liked that aspect. All in all, we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Barbados is also a wonderful place; people were friendly and helpful all over the island. Vendors were not pushy and very polite. Don't give it a second thought, go to Barbados and stay at Turtle Beach!

Definitely go to Harison's Cave - drive! Also, if you want to scuba dive go see Ram on his boat Scotch and Soda - short walk to Sandy Beach. The turtles come close to shore and will swim around you in the afternoon.

Great Location
Great place to relax! Best beach I have ever seen, with crystal white sand and sparkling clear blue water. Absolutely no seaweed. The food was excellent for the buffets. Al a carte could have been way better, buffet all the way. At Asiago's there was a separate menu if you wanted seafood or meat and that was at an additional cost. The included menu was sparring with little to no meats or seafood dishes. At the price per stay there should be no additional fee menu. I would strongly recommend going offsite to the restaurants well worth it if you want al a carte. Some of the best restaurants I have been too. Don't expect much nightlife at the hotel as it ends at 10pm. Seemed like everyone was too stuffy at night. The whole point of vacation is to have a great time people at this resort need to open up and smile, staff was great though. They made everything easy and always had a smile and great personality. [...] and his crew really made it worth while. They couldn't do enough for you. Props to them. Overall going here to relax and do little is exactly what this resort is about. Would definitely go back and recommend going here.

Relaxing getaway
I was there 1st week of May. It rain on & off the 1st two days and it rain the whole day on the 3rd, which was upsetting. However, the rest of the week was pure sunshine. The beach is beautiful! The crew on the beach helps you pull the beach chairs out and brings you fruits/drinks periodically. They are awesome! All the staffs are friendly and very well manner. We had a oceanview upgrade and we didn't even pay for it! The rooms are newly renovated. It is clean and comfy. I had a wonderful time here. It's very quiet and relaxing. Only downside is, it can get toooo quiet. If you are looking for entertainment and parties...this place is not for you.

Turtle Beach Review-Not My Favorite
Turtle Beach was just alright for the money. I have sttayed at much better resorts for the same or less monwy. Beach was beautiful and the chairs were nice and had covers, if you didn't want to get too much sun. There was always a beach assistant front and center to get you a chair. The ocean was very wavy. If you like the waves, you will love it. If you want a calm ocean, stay on the other side of the island. Breakfast and lunch were buffet style. The food was just adequate. Dinner was a la carte, with the choice of at least 2 restaurants. Dinners were better, but not great. I expected the food to be much better. No matter where you eat, you need to make reservations at breakfast. If you get to breakfast later than 9am, then you will proably only be able to get a 9:00 dinner seating. We were not happy about that. Entertainment is provided nightly and very good. The rooms were adequate, nothing great. No beverages or snacks provided in room. If you wanted room service, there was a $15 service charge added to your room. The staff was wonderful and accomadated any request, if possible.
