Beach View Barbados

We loved our stay. Everything was as described. We were upgraded to a beach view upon arrival. The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel was more like a condo than a hotel, very clean. The beach and coral reef are 60 seconds from the hotel gate. All sorts of snorkeling equipment, chairs, umbrellas, etc were free for the taking. Excellent experience.

My wife and I chose Beach View because it offered what we wanted most from our stay in Barbados--at a very reasonable price. We were even happier with the hotel than we expected. For our week in Barbados we wanted very comfortable and tasteful accommodations, with a beautiful view and within walking distance of a great beach and good restaurants. We didn't need to be right on the beach or to have restaurant service at the hotel. At Beach View we got everything we expected and more. Our third-floor suite was huge--and very well furnished and decorated. It had a big sunroom overlooking the Caribbean off the living room and a cozy balcony off the bedroom. The views were spectacular--including a turquoise sea in the mornings, shimmering waters in the afternoons and gorgeous sunsets. The kitchen was well equipped, and we used it for simple breakfasts and several other meals that enabled us to justify splurging on more fine restaurant meals than we would have if we had had to eat out for every meal. (Our most memorable meal was at the Cariba restaurant, a very short walk from Beach View.) Having to cross the road to get to the beach was a negative, but the beach was very nice, especially a few hundred feet to the north where condos and hotels front directly on the beach and the road seems miles away. The pool at Beach View is not very exciting, but since we much prefer beaches, we didn't mind or even use the pool. And we didn't need or miss a hotel lobby or hotel bar. But we did find Beach View was a good base location from which to explore the island.

We stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing! My husband had an emergency surgical procedure and they went out of their way for me. They even offered an extra night for free if he didn't get out on time! That's just the kind of caring people they are. Beach View is impeccable and amazing in every way!

There are many very positive reviews written about this condo and the all proved to be true. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped, the service is prompt. The location of the hotel is somewhat away from the beach, but if you mind walking, rent a car.

The condos were lovely with fully equiped kitchen and maid service every day, but the staff goes way out of their way to help you with reservations, ideas and suggestions. The manager even has a cocktail party at his "Cliff House" with transportation to and from for any guests that sign up. This house is amazing.

We would highly recommend Beach view, staff were very helpful, had a great time meeting other guests at the manager's cocktails. Can easily get a bus from right outside the hotel into Bridgetown. The accommodation was spacious and very smart and clean, with all you would ever need.

it was almost perfect. the garden, the pool and the beach is right across the street..its was just perfect.

Our time at the Beach View was tranquil. The entire facility is kept well. Everything is provided for you, all the cooking utensils, dryer and washer, etc. This makes you feel at home in a very peaceful atmosphere. By bus its very accessible, but renting a car is a good option, just be cautious with the roads and driving regulations. I think overall the island is beautiful,the people, the beaches, the food, but to much mosquitoes and everyone one including the government should address this problem.
