Formerly a private colonial-era club, the AAA Four Diamond Award Colony Club now welcomes guests to experience Barbados' storied history. Enjoy savory dining and sun-swept beaches, relaxing poolside activities and the casual elegance of evening cocktails, each Colony Club guest finds a personal retreat and memorable moment to call their own.
February is an Adults only month, therefore children under 12 years of age will not be permitted at the property during this time. Normal supplement charges will be applied to teens 13 years or older.
Its location is just 40 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport and 20 minutes from Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados.

- Colony Club's signature restaurant specializes in continental and seafood fares and also plays host to several Theme dinners per week (vary by season). This restaurant offers a true culinary experience in a covered open-air setting with views of the hotel's tropical gardens, lagoon pools and ocean beyond. Breakfast is served 7:30am - 10:00am Lunch is served 12:30pm - 2:30pm Dinner seating begins at 7:00pm and final seating is at 9:30pm. (dinner reservations are recommended especially over the holiday season.)
- The Orchid Room
- An intimate dinner restaurant with an a la carte menu and extensive wine list featuring local cuisine (Dinner only/children over 12 years). Dinner seating begins at 7:00pm and last seating is at 9:30pm. Reservations are required as Orchid is not open daily.
- The Sunset Bar
- Serving tropical concoctions, refreshing cocktails and light casual fare (the Deck), this bar is located on the pool/beach deck and is conveniently also a swim-up bar. Sunset Bar is open from 10am - 12 midnight and light snacks served on The Deck from 3:00pm - 9:30pm daily.
- The Planters Bar
- An intimate cocktail lounge that opens each evening for pre-dinner drinks. It is open daily from 6:30pm - 10:00pm (on a seasonal basis).

Very nice hotel, service was friendly. Advanced warning - in the off season (May-October), there is no concierge on duty, so the front desk folks try to help you with reservations, etc. They are not very good at it! But otherwise, very nice for families and couples.

Romantic getaway at the southernmost caribbean island, Colony Club Hotel in Barbados sits on a pristine west coast beach perfect for relaxing and baking in the sun; the most delicious ocean breezes and bajan food;dreamy sunsets;spacious suites with spa amenities(robes,slippers and full line of quality bath products). Lexy Piano Bar in Holetown features JEN PORTER, musician, for all nite singing and dancing; and the sushi is the best in St. James also!

Colony Club
Friendly staff. Clean premises, however not particularly modern compared with the sister hotel Tamarind. Food was terrible. Loved having the additional sun bed on patio.

Great stay
Loved the hotel, location on inland & staff. Beautiful setting, great beach with complimentary water sports & a swimming dock. Lovely sunset deck with great food & drinks. Comfortable rooms & beds, clean with TV & ipod dock. Business center has 2 computer terminals with spotty free internet access, but workable. Easy to rent a car & tour the island, but bring a good map!
