The hotel location was great, walking distance to many sites like the Grand Place. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and they had a good knowledge of the local area. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the only negative thing I can think of was that the bath towels seemed pretty cheap for such a nice hotel. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend the Marriott to others.

The staff are amazing and helpful, the rooms are clean, and the amenities are great (nice gym, free bottles of evian, wifi everywhere, etc.). My only complaint was that there is no real restaurant. The 24-hour snack buffet is a nice touch, but the food has to be heated with a microwave and it kind of feels like a college dorm setup. I also paid a LOT given that it seemed like a pretty simple hotel. But the location and service couldn't be beat.

立派なホテルだが、若干古さを感じる。
トイレも滝の様に一気に水が流れて周りが水浸しになったり、シャワーが固定式で蛇口の様な形状でに一気に出てくる。
バスタオルは凄く大きい。アメニティはシャンプー・コンディショナー・ボディシャンプー・ボディローション。しかし一般的に使えない様なホテル独特の品。
チェックイン時、年配の女性が英語を話してくれるがフランス語発音？なのか全く聞き取れず。若い女性の英語は理解できるレベル。
ツインルームを予約したが、ダブルルームに通される。
変更をして貰えたが、トリプル（３人）で申し込みしていたのにエキストラベッドは用意されておらず、何回もフロントで依頼。
散々待って設置されたエキストラベッドは大変寝心地のいい、エキストラとは呼べない位のベッド。こういうところがさすがヒルトン。
しかし全体的に、細やかなサービスと言うのに大変欠ける。
申告して初めて行動に出て貰える感じ。
朝食は全てにおいて種類が豊富で、美味しかった。

Hotel de tres bon standing et bien placé, mais a part le prix de la chambre très abordable pour cette qualité, le moindre service additionnel est très cher (petit dejeuner > 20€/pers, restaurant, bar, parking)

Stayed here few years running with the health club being a major draw. 10 min walk into Grand Place that may not suit some. but buses and the Metro nearby. Major shopping areas of Ave Louise and around Namur are about 5 mins walk away.
Nice size rooms appear well maintained. Beds had mattress toppers so quite comfortable. Windows will open for a change of air.
Breakfast included in rate and was of good quality and choice. Be clueless about people's needs e.g. no plates, no replenishment of jams, no teaspoons on the table. Monday's service was noticably different.
Health club does not open the pool until 6pm weekdays - shame when arriving Fri afternoon for a weekend stay. Open every morning and all day Sat and Sun though.
Parking apparently not included in my booking. Unless I paid the high charge to access the internet, I couldn't verify. Managed to find the out of zone area so parked about 5 mins walk away.

Bon séjour. Bon accueil. Personnel serviable. Nous avions un appartement tout équipé.
Le resto est de bonne qualité. Le PDJ sous forme de buffet est très copieux et varié.
Etablissement bien placé puisque dans le quartier du parlement européen avec commodités transport en commun, touristique et taxis.

Très bon emplacement à deux minutes de la gare du nord et 10 minutes du centre historique.
La vue depuis la piscine et la salle de sport (30è étage) est imprenable.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit sauberem Bad und großer Dusche. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziger Nachteil ist die Umgebung mit dem ältesten Gewerbe der Welt in der Straße. Trotzdem war es im Zimmer ruhig und störungsfrei.

Good place to stay near the Central Train Station

The Novotel is one block down the street from the Central Train Station and a five minute walk from the Grand Place. Can't ask for a better location.
The hotel is very clean and austere, as is typical of Novotel hotels. The staff is competant and friendly.
I have no complaints and will stay here again when visiting Brussels.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Scandic! All staff was very helpful, our room was clean (not huge, but we didn't spend much time there do it was fine, and as expected for a European hotel.
The location is amazing- blocks from the train station (even w big rolling suitcases) and RIGHT in the middle of everything you want to see in Brussels.
There is a locked baggage room available if you need to drop off bags before checkin, or are wandering for awhile after checkout. Free wifi, breakfast (good, very European style)... Just stay here. Trust me. :)

Bed too hard. Shower was ridiculous.... Imagine taking a shower standing on a pizza pan while being mugged by the liner and there was no place for soap or anything else. One hap-hazard move & the entire bathroom was flooded. Overpriced breakfast. Very minimalist decor... Not a cushion to be found anywhere. All chairs were hard plastic. No chair in room except for the plastic kind. I do have to say.... The front desk staff was extremely nice!!!!

L'hotel ne vaut pas plus que 2 étoiles, très loin des 4 étoiles annoncées!
La salle de bains est une marche plus bas et pas du tout signalée. Un vrai piège!!
Le garage est en face de l'hotel mais pour y entrer, même à pied, il faut demander au consierge d'ouvrir la porte!

La chambre n'avait d'"executive" que le nom: lit single alors que payé pour lit "queen size". Moquette maculée de taches. TV défectueuse. Chauffage insuffisant. Sanitaires crasseux. Mini-bar sous clef. Pas une seule prise de courant disponible pour brancher un laptop. Seul le petit déjeuner (continental) était passable. Adresse à éviter .

Clean, large rooms, friendly customer service. A nice restaurant area is around the corner, as is a good shopping street. About 10-15 mins walk from the city centre. Enjoyed an excellent stay.

The price was good, and this was one of the nice places that we stayed on the trip that we took. It might not be a four star hotel, but it is still a great deal. Close to the metro stop, and walking distance to many points of interest make it a great location for seeing the city.

Great location and the directions on the web site on how to get to the hotel from the airport were easy to follow. There was a bit on construction, however, it did not take away from the hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions, questions and any extras that were needed.

The hotel was perfect for us. Close to the airport and very clean. The staff was helpfeul and the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. One of the best meals we had on our trip.

Great Place For Traveling with a Car

Located away from the Grote Market, but easily accessible by tram, this hotel was just what my family needed after driving through four countries. I chose this place based on price and proximity to the airport. Upon initial check in (approx 4pm) the first room we were assigned was not cleaned. The front desk apologized and brought our bags to the sixth floor.
We had a room facing the Atomium that was in the distance, but also the main street, which included the tram. With the window closed you could still hear considerable traffic but as the night progressed the traffic subsided. A king size bed (not two beds pushed together) and great water pressure, relaxed us. Nothing in the mini fridge so we could store my daughter's snacks as there was a grocery store 5 min walk.
They had a great bar, Zinc, which included a tan felt pool table, and a separate fooze ball table. The bar was open and airy with plenty of light and comfortable seating. The included free parking with plenty of spaces and the free breakfast were the real winners. A full breakfast buffet with hash browns, eggs, waffle station, etc awaited us in the morning (7am-11am). The waiter leaves a pot of coffee on your table.
They just started a shuttle service to the airport that wasn't available when I first booked that runs day and night.
A great nights sleep and value with easy access downtown and to the airport, I'd recommend this hotel to friends

Chambre très propre et très grande. Wifi gratuit, TV avec connexion Bluetooth et USB (musique).
Problème avec la douche italienne: inondation de la sdb...
Sinon l'espace "wellness" est conforme à la description: salle de fitness, hammam, spa...sauf que l'eau du spa à 29°C c'est un peu froid (enfin tiède... mais pas chaud!! )
C'est un hôtel très grand ( au moins 200 ch ) donc le personnel fait le job mais sans plus.

We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are quite big with a sofa/bed as well as double bed. The double bed is not huge.
I thought the wifi was a bit expensive and didn't bother.
It's very well located for the Christmas market, which is just around the corner in Sr Katherine's. Also well located for the city centre.
We found the room a bit too hot for sleeping and had to put on the air conditioning at night.
But really a very nice room and hotel.

Overall a very decent hotel ~ staff friendly, room size moderate, comfortable and quiet. Though not close to Grand Place, Hotel just next to Louise Metro Station and easy to access to Grand Place and Midi Train Station (South Station). No hesitation to recommend. If I travel to Brussels again, I will stay at Sofitel again.

The real side of luxury

I stayed for three nights at this hotel and had high expectations. It is newly and stylishly renovated with funky acoustic music piped through the lobby and bar. You feel that you are someplace special and different but there is a real side to the appearance of luxury.
Generally, the desk is staffed by very efficient looking and well groomed young people. It is clear that they are programmed to provide good service but there is not much warmth.
I requested an extra cot for my room three times - each time the person at the desk said "yes, no problem" and it was finally brought just past midnight on the night we needed it. A friendly and slightly flustered young woman brought the cot to my room and we discovered that it would not fit so we tilted it sideways and carried it in. Strangely, the mattress was tied to the frame with the belts of several bath robes.
The first night that I arrived I found all the lights in the room blazing and music playing on the radio (turn down service). When I wanted to go to bed I was unable to turn off the hall light and could only switch it off with the main switch near the front door. This meant that I could not read myself to sleep but had to get up and shut off the main switch to turn out the lights (remember the days when there was no remote control on the tv!?). The next day I told the front desk and they said that it would be fixed but it was not. It was finally fixed on the last day of my stay after I called again.
One night my friends and I went to the bar thinking that we would have a drink or some dessert. We suffered sticker shock and decided to leave. It is very pricy. The Hagen Daaz around the corner was an adequate alternative.
Eggs are not served at the breakfast buffet, one must request them. On the second morning I requested eggs and they never came. On the last morning they came but the boiled egg was almost raw and inedible.
All in all, these things probably would not matter to me or a normal customer if the price were lower and if the hotel did not aspire to be a "luxury" hotel. They probably also would not have mattered if someone at the desk were more of a real person than a polite, programmed automaton. I would have preferred a real response rather than a "yes, of course" every time.
Nice hotel but there was a real world side to the "luxury".
