Stylish and comfortable new hotel in a quiet street in the center of town
Sandton Hotel Brussels is a new hotel with modern, contemporary styling. Set on a quiet street close to Grand Central Station and the Grand Place, it is ideal for getting around Brussels. Business guests can make use of the conference suites, meeting rooms and free Wi-Fi Internet access throughout. Breakfast is available daily between 6.30am and 10am, lunch and dinner is available in the hotel although guests can choose from plenty of restaurants nearby. Underground parking is available (places are limited and fees apply).

An American visitor
Good location but poor room interior design.
Good location - easy 5 minutes walk to city center. However, room interior design is very rudimentary. Desk is small and located in a dark corner. Closet is only a short stand alone cabinet by the wall. Room is clean though. Staff is also rather friendly. Overall, not a 4-star hotel I would expect.

It's a mixed bag
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. First of all the location can't be any better, it's near the Central Train Station and only a 5 minute walk away from the Grand Place. Just Perfect. I wish I could say the same for the service. Our first night we had problem with the air conditioner, it was fixed. The mini bar was empty and unplugged. Then I woke up in the middle of the night only to see bed bugs over my pillow, some were already red. The reception staff were nice, apologized and changed my room. I later learned that my colleague have experienced the same problem. We were both on the first floor. If you don't count our first night, it was an acceptable hotel but at this price level, I'd expect better service and certainly no bugs in my bed.

Use the train to travel back and forth the airport. It's only 7 euros and takes 15 minutes. This hotel is only a hundred meters from the station.

Brussels the Beautiful
The hotel staff is very pleasant, friendly and knowledgable. They are so willing to go the extra mile to accomdate your needs albeit directions, places to dine and any other logistical issues that might arise. The Sandton is strategically located, it's just 5 short (walking) minutes from some delicious eateries that serve up traditional Belgium fare. Mass Transportation is just a hop skip and leap away. Given the hotel's 4 star rating I was disappointed that the hotel didn't have a restaurant or a cafe that mirrored the cafes that are sprinkled throughout Brussels. Be prepared to bring your own adapter/converter. I tried to borrow one, and I was quickly told about their lack of availability because previous guest have fail to return them!

bon emplacement, mais très léger sur le service voire inexistant
l'hôtel est vraiment très bien placé les chambres sont exactement telles que décrites, mais: pas assez de personnel minibar non rempli ménage fait excessivement tardivement et de manière très succinte
