If you prefer Ipanema, it would take just a few minutes to get there. If you are a business traveller, just 15 minutes and you will be Downtown or just work at the hotel, with extensive business support areas and services.
Whatever the reason of your trip, make the most of your stay. Just choose one of the 135 rooms decorated in the finest taste and enjoy it.
IMPORTANT: Children under 18 years old are required to present identification at check-in and must be accompanied by both parents, guardians, or have permission of the Juvenile Court, in case of travelling with others. small rooms and bad food
Not like the pictures, very ordinary, a bed like a slab of rock and a tiny room, a "deluxe" room at that, with only an uncomfortable desk chair. .

The staff was wonderfull and very helpful. The front desk all spoke English. It's across from the beach, so you can't go wrong with this hotel. My husband and I booked a room with a partial view of the ocean.Deborah, the hotel manager, upgraded our room the last 2 days to a full view of the ocean. Tips if you book at this hotel: -bring a small clock, there are none in the room. -bring a travel steamer, there is no iron. -do not pay for the Internet at this hotel. There's a few Internet cafes nearby that charge 1 real for 15 minutes

Good value for money in an ideal location
We were extremely pleased with the location, the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff. We were very pleasantly surprised with the English language ability of the desk staff as well as the overall cost for a quality modern hotel right on Copacabana beach. This hotel is exceptionally located to view both Corcavado and Sugarloaf Peak from the pool bar as well as to walk the night market on the beach or to sample top churrascaria meals in Rio. A minor inconvenience was the late morning opening of the roof-top pool which otherwise would offer a great cool down dip after a morning run with the Copacabana crowd.

Fabulous
A spectacular hotel with a view of Copacabana Beach. The newly renovated hotel is very modern with all the amenities of a five star hotel. The staff provided the best service. The restaurant was a great place to eat and breakfast was included. Highly recommended and will go again.

Excellent location, great views!
The hotel was perfect. Located across from one of the best beaches on earth, the Arena lived up to expectations. The room has clean and comfortable (although a little hard to regulate - it was either too hot or too cold). The rooftop bar and pool were worth the stay alone!! The staff were efficient, but not the friendliest folks you'd encounter. Still, that's not a problem. I'd stay there again and recommend it to anyone. It was good value for the money, considering the location!

Very good
Location awesome.. staff great.. breakfast very good... pool is not big at all, but ocean is... Only bad comment is that shower did not ever get hot.. warm at best. I would go back..

The best!
From the moment i arrived staff were very very helpful! The guy at reception showed me all the hotspots in Rio for a single 20 yr old. He was 100% correct! The room was unbelieveable. Spacious and the view was to die for. The view from the pool was also amazing. It was close to fancy and afforable restaurants all with a great view of copocabana beach. Also walking distance to iPanema and the lagoon! Hotel restaurant had great food and excellent service. Bar was also awesome. I really enjoyed my time here. Would definately stay here again and will recommend all to stay here.

Would recommend you to walk around if you wanna find an afforable restaurant as the hotel restaurant was a lil pricey and i found that surronding restaurants were as well.

Not a bad option right on Copacabana
A pretty decent hotel with a good range of options at breakfast. The rooms were absolutely ordinary, especially given the price, but OK on the whole given that Rio is pretty expensive in general.

weekend in rio
The pool and bar areas were very nice. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The health club could benefit from more cardio equipment.
