Standard Double Room This room is about 27 square meter in size. It features soundproofed windows and granite floors.
Master Suite This suite is about 42 square meter in size. It features a Jacuzzi, as well as soundproofed windows and granite floors.
Triple Room = Standard Double Room.
Additional Charges: 5% of governmental taxes.
IMPORTANT: Children under 18 years old are required to present identification at check-in and must be accompanied by both parents, guardians, or have permission of the Juvenile Court, in case of travelling with others. In case one of the parents is not traveling with them, they must show his/her parent permission to travel with the person accompanying them.

The size of the room was good the pool was gold the breakfast was bland they charge adaily fee for the safe that is part of the room for the price it is way over rated.

Merlin Hotel Copacabana, RDJ Brazil
(About me 31 Yrs old / male tourist) The hotel gets a 3.5 rating. Nothing fancy, GREAT location, bit over priced (due to carnaval) but all and all a good experience. Hotel did charge us upon check out for the "infamous missing towels". No, no towels were taken out, but they claimed otherwise. $25 dollars wasted on that. I spent a week in Rio, access to the beach was great (5 mins walk), restaurants, taxi lines, banks all right outside the hotel. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and average sized. The neighborhood wasn't bad at all. Streets are well lit, no troubles outside the hotel during my week stay. Despite being expensive, I found out other hotels in same area where actually charging MORE during Carnaval. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. I highly recommend, if you're going during Carnaval, reserve your rooms EARLY. Hotel is in Lemme Beach which connects to Copacabana beach after a short walk. Rooms in Copacabana's section are significantly more expensive.

A good value hotel with a great
A good value hotel with a great breakfast choice with friendly and attentive staff. We shared a room with our daughter which meant we had three single beds rather than a double and the single but overall it was a good hotel and one that I would be happy to recommend.

Great staff, good location, a
Great staff, good location, a bit dark in the room, but overall a great place to stay. Also, the pool was closed for maintenance, which was OK, but would have been nice to know before we got there.

Hotel well located, although busy
Hotel well located, although busy road. Close to the beach and shopping centre (Rio Sul). Facilites were good and free Internet in the room. Breakfast is OK, nothing exceptional. Staff also good.

Propre mais dans un état de délabrement
Propre mais dans un état de délabrement avancé pour le standing ; je suis resté bloqué plus d'une heure à l'extérieur de ma chambre dont la porte ne s'ouvrait plus, de grosses fuites d'eau au plafond etc. Je n'y retournerai pas.

Es comodo, bien ubicado, su desayuno muy bueno pero la atencion del personal de la recepción es bastante mala, mal trato y ademas sin ningun tipo de interes en resolver los conflictos que el mismo hotel causa.

Cet hôtel est vraiment superbe.
Cet hôtel est vraiment superbe. Le personnel est très efficace et très sympa ( certains parlent Français ). La situation est bonne et en traversant le petit tunnel situé juste à côté de l'hôtel on accède directement au centre commercial Rio sul.
