A historical coffee plantation mansion, located in the most noble area of Santa Teresa- cultural-historical heart of Rio de Janeiro.
The boutique hotel was restored with charm and sophistication as an exclusive reference of Brazilian Tropical Design. More than an extraordinary hotel, the Hotel Santa Teresa offers peace-of-mind and safety to all guests with tropical gardens, panoramic pools, complete Natural SPA, a lounge bar classified as the most romantic in Rio de Janeiro and Tereze Restaurant with Franco-Brazilian gastronomy by Chef Damien Montecer.
The decoration and architecture design of the hotel was inspired by the golden ages of coffee and cocoa, in the search for sophistication and elegance through the use of noble and ecological material from the land and culture of Brazil. Burnt cement, bordeaux or golden slate, red and dark tropical woods, banana tree fiber and other tropical adorning blend with contemporary design by Sergio Rodrigues, Rock Lane, Studio Vitty, Zemog and Oficina de Agosto. Amazing Hotel!
This is an amazing choice! Must stay ... Great rooms, excelent service and accomodation. We had dinner the night of arrival and even though it was late, the staff exceed our needs!. Really pumpered!... Breakfast is served with an overview of the city...Loved it!. We stayed on business in the city... but loved to come back!.. Still have to try the Spa services... will definetly come back...

Don´t be intimidated about the location of this superb boutique hotel. The location lets you enjoy the true historical and cultural flare in Rio. Amenities are excellent and the staff will do whatever it takes to make your stay enjoyable. I completely recommend this hotel.

Fabulous hotel in a charming part of Rio
Top-notch service, beautifully decorated common areas, well-appointed rooms, amazing restaurant/bar and on top of that a fantastic view of the city.
