great location
very friendly staff. any time ther was at least one person at the front desk that spoke english. nice room with kingsize bed. close to many very nice restaurants.

fair price, great location, clean
Very clean and well located. For the money it was worth it. Not fancy, but have all you need. One minus - the pool is very small and indoors.

Do not take the turist bus to the airport. Taxi will cost a lot more, but at least you won't miss your flight. Bus take s very long time and has many stops.

Frequent Brazil Traveler
Great value for the location
I was in Sao Paulo for two days at the end of a 3 week Brazil trip. The hotel's amenities are basic but it was clean and comfortable. The price cannot be beat for the location, which is walking distance to many good restaurants and Av Paulista. There is convenient, nearly hourly Guarulhos airport bus service that leaves from the Renaissance hotel which is right around the corner. I plan to stay again.

Guarulhos airport bus service leaves about once an hour from the Renaissance Hotel, which is around the corner.

Fantastic Deal @ the Mercure SP Jardins!
The location of the Mercure Jardins could not be more perfect. We walked to the most beautiful restaurants in town and the best stores. We took a taxi to explore other areas, but we could have spent more time just where we were. I would have liked if breakfast was included in our stay. It was good, but a bit expensive at 28 reis a person for a buffet. Because of convenience, we ate breakfast there 2 out of 3 mornings. We ordered room service 1 evening. The service was quick, but the food was average (to be expected.) Service in the hotel was excellent. Everyone spoke English. They helped us with our needs immediately. The gym is basic, but does the trick. I would definitely return.

Figueria Rubayat was the best diner we had in Sao Paulo. The setting is gorgeous, right by an immense fig tree. The meat was delicious. We had beef and chicken, both fantastic. Great caipirinhas. Absolutely lovely experience.
