Short walk from hotel
Close to the train and bus station. We arrived there by train the first time, by bus the second time and left from the airport. Short drive to the airport in a taxi.

Will be using again.
The hotel may be out of the city centre but was what I were looking for. A 15 minute walk or £1.80 taxi. The staff in this hotel amazed me. If I were someone visiting in the prospect of buying this hotel I would not change the staff. They operate as though the blood line of the hotel. If I were to be critical it was knowing that the sheets weren't changed daily, but at 3 showers a day in the same sheets for two days never upset me so long as there's a one body between sheets wash rule. The area in which the hotel sits may not be the best areas of Sofia but nor is it unsafe. I can't talk for nightwalkers but up until 2am and alone the roaming dogs were more of a concern than any human walking in the same street as me. The dogs are no trouble mind, just walk around them.
