The Rundlestone Lodge is located on the main avenue of Banff Springs in heart of the Canadian Rockies. This beautiful, 96 room lodge was built in the Swiss Alpine Style, with steep pitched roofs and dormered windows. The Lodge finished a complete refurbishment in 2001, but has the feel of a lodge from the 1920s featuring stone floors, a hewn log front desk, a large lobby fireplace and comfortable, casual furniture. Individual balconies allow views of the nearby Rocky Mountains. The hotel's comfortable, intimate atmosphere is reinforced by the friendly service provided by a first rate staff. The Lodges central location allows quick easy access to the areas many attractions.

warm and welcoming

The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise amidst many premium choices in town. Prices at the hotel were fair and the food quality was very good. Eating in Banff can break you, so the Rundelstone was a a help to our budget. Really enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Very Accomodating Staff

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were upgraded by the check-in person to a very spacious suite-type room. It was great. The hotel has a beautiful pool facility, however, the hot tub wasn't heating properly. It was a barely warm tub. The indoor pool was rather cool as well, but children won't mind. This is a very nice, family friendly hotel. I'd certainly stay again.

Shopping tip: Long walk from hotel

The hotel is approx. 6-8 blocks from shopping and dining in downtown Banff.
