Except for having a room on the second floor and with no elevator, meaning I had to lug golf clubs up and down the stairs, it was a good place to stay. Clean,roomy,convenient and excellent air-conditioning. I would recommend it.

OK hotel in a good location

Stayed in Sandman over a hockey tournament weekend. The location is very good, and facilities are well maintained. An extra point for the easy access to the trail by the canal, which was a nice to place to go jog. There is nothing out of the ordinary with this hotel itself, but most importantly nothing wrong either. The front desk people were very nice and helpful - they gave a GREAT first impression and welcome to the hotel.
There is a compelementary WiFi, which is a plus. Also the work desk and chair provided a comfortable and productive work area.
The bathroom was nice and clean, and the shower worked as it should (sometimes showers are a bit sketchy...). There were other hockey teams in the hotel at the same time, and it was still nice and quiet in the hallways.

Have stayed at the Lakeside before, it appears to be very well maintained and updated. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Word of advice, don't stay there on a long weekend. Very noisy, didn't get a lot of sleep and it was expensive.

We relaxed! Enjoyed the good food,the walking trail along the lake, and the friendly people. The wine shop at the cities visitor center was a very good place to pick up the best wines in British Columbia.

We are centrally located to the South Okanagans champion golf courses, finest wineries and only 25 minutes from Apex ski resort.
