the hotel is fine considering the price. The bad experience was occurred when I checked out. When I checked in, I was told that I already paid (which is true) and need my credit card number for additional expense while I stay. But when I check-out, the teller told me that I have not paid for it. She gave me a bill asking me to sign it. I explained to her that I have already paid. Unfortunately, she smiled to me and said that I need to pay. As you expect, I did sign the bill in order for me to leave in time for my trip.
After I got back home and checked my credit bill, the hotel fee was paid 3 weeks ago. Now I have to call the credit card company to stop this payment.
Be careful!

As a tourist, the place meet its goal. I was there to play in the Mtns. I needed easy access, a good bed, quick in and out, clean and affordable. Based on the competition, I think there was only one place a tad better in the price range.
I found staff very helpful with multiple special requests. I wouldnt want to hang out for the day at the place, not a resort but a clean nice place to lay your head.

The location is off the main drag but worth the 6 km drive to get there. If you did not know different,you could think that you are in Switzerland. The mountains were so close ans the grounds are beautiful.
The staff did everything to make sure the food was prepared to perfection.
If you are looking for place with great views and no road noise,check it out.
We were there in August and the place was not too busy. Winter is much different. Reserve your room early. You will be glad you did.

We enjoyed our stay. The plus side: The hotel room was modern, quiet, very clean, and they have beautiful dining room with a patio that has an incredible view of the mountains. The downside: maintenance was required – broken light switch and the TV signal was snowy. We would definitely stay here again.

Welcome to Revelstoke. The home of Revelstoke National Park which is located 3 kilometers from the property. Also visit the Revelstoke Dam, Glacier National Park and Canyon Hot Springs all within 20 minutes of the Super 8.

Cheep and cheerful - staff were rather miserable but other then that the rooms were clean and well maintained and the beds are comfortable.

Decent Hotel to Stay in for a Night

The Super 8 in Revelstoke is about what you would expect from a two star hotel. The room was clean and it was a decent size. The small pool and hot tub are pluses for the price range, though again, they're nothing too fancy.
The location is decent if you are traveling through town and you need to find a hotel for the night. There may be other hotels that are better located if you are interested in actually exploring the town.
One small minus is that the hotel is located across the street from the railway. This means that there was some train noise, although I would suggest that it was no worse than what you would experience in a motel right on a highway. On the plus side for those traveling through town, the Super 8 shares a parking lot with a gas station and a Tim Hortons (in case you want anything more than the continental breakfast in the morning).
