Quiet hotel amidst big conference hustle and bustle
Spent a great long weekend in Vancouver, part conference and part vacation. Le Soleil is a lovely old fashioned European style hotel close to the convention centre and many other downtown venues and attractions. No wait for elevators, quiet rooms, helpful staff, etc.

Comfortable family stay
My adult children and I needed a break after the death of my husband and their father. We had planned the trip months before and were hesitant to go but were glad we went. The hotel felt cozy and great home base to explore Vancouver and surroundings.Staff was helpful with places to eat and directions to sites. Felt really comfortable after long days of tourism.

Conference
This hotel is just a quick 5 minute walk to the east conference and was perfect to return to after a long day. And it is also very centrally located to all downtown locations you may want to visit. The rooms are very spacious with a separate "living" room area. This is a walking city so bring your walking shoes. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. They always has great restaurant recommendations to make.

A little gem
The hotel is very nice and the location ideal, in downtown Vancouver 2 or 3 blocks away from the waterfront, Gastown and much more. The rooms are very spacious with a living room. Best of all is the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful giving us great tips and recommendations that were definitely away from the tourist traps. I would stay there again with no hesitations. This is a great little gem in the heart of Vancouver!

Lovely long weekend
Stayed here for a long weekend with family. It was our first time in Vancouver and the hotel was very centrally located to everything. The room was very small for 4 adults but we made do, especially since we didn't spend much time there. Staff was friendly & helpful except initially upon check-in they attempted to charge for the additional guests, stating the room was booked only for one adult. They were apologetic when shown the reservation indicating 4 adults. Amenities were average but room exceptionally clean.

I'd stay again
Nice place, good staff, tasty food at the attached restaurant. I wish hotels would realize that wireless internet isn't optional, and not something we appreciate being charged for.

Great hotel in a great city
This is an excellent hotel. It's located really well in downtown whether you're there for business or a vacation (as I was) and with the Skytrain within easy reach as well as loads of bus routes nearby you won't have any trouble getting wherever you need to go. The room was lovely and spacious and the staff are really helpful: I had a very late flight getting in, but there was no trouble in doing a late check-in and they were just friendly and helpful in general. The restaurant in the hotel's very good too - both for breakfast and dinner and again lovely staff. The only thing you could say against Le Soleil is that it's not the cheapest, but that's not the market it's operating in, so not really something to complain about. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Vancouver and would definitely go back myself.

Great experience
This hotel offers fantastic suites at very reasonable priced offers. Located downtown and just a few blocks from Robson Street, you're no more than a short walk from a majority of Vancouver's major attractions. While the view isn't anything spectacular; on the 12th floor you can see beautiful trees, tall buildings & the Vancouver Tower. Having stayed at other hotels throughout the city, I am confident when I say that upon our return to Vancouver we'll stay here again.

The Lennox pub on the corner of Robson & Granville is a great bar. Good atmosphere, helpful staff & a vast array of drink options. Plus they have Carlsberg; a fantastic beer!
