Overall I had a fantastic experience at the St.Regis Hotel. Its a fantastic hotel with attention paid to the individual. Free amenities like breakfast, international calling, wireless internet and access to a full featured gym next door. The staff was very helpful taking time to explain if you had any questions. If you are leaving early in the morning they even packed a breakfast box for you!

Best value in Vancouver
Free internet, free daily made to order breakfast, free long distance and local calls, and free currency exchange. Literally next door to sky train stration and starbucks. Great downtown location near gastown, convention center and pacific center shopping. Drug store & Tim Horton's across street. Clean modern room & helpful staff. Only negative was a bit noisy on Sat night due to bar across the street. Can't beat the value & will definately stay here again.

Recommend Highly
Nice clean hotel in a good downtown locatiopn, within walking distance to Canada Placa, Yaletown, Gastown, Pacific Center and restaurants etc. Quiet, clean and decent-sized rooms, Bathrooms were nice sized and not claustrophobic. Hearty breakfast served by clean, friendly staff. Front desk is manned by real friendly professionals. A good value for one's money. Seems like a popular place too, judging from the people at breakfast time. Every one was very helpful and were happy to help if one needed something out of the ordinary eg use of their microwave (usually reserved for the hotel staff only) to heat some carryout foods brought in from elsewhere etc. Would definitely stay there the next time we visit Vancouver.

Caveat emptor - Exorbitant umbrella rental charges
Well situated, clean hotel, convenient to downtown shopping, the waterfront and upscale restaurants. Easy arrival from the airport via the Canada line. Nicely appointed, stylishly remodeled. The free internet, phone and breakfasts are nice touches. The front desk personnel, the maid service, the breakfast servers, are all friendly, efficient and top notch; don't forget to tip them for their efforts. The room I was assigned was small; when occupied by two people, one could sit on the chair, the other on the bed (or possibly on the built-in bench in the shower). When I arrived there was a job fair or something similar going on in the next room, with attendant noise, traffic and congestion. I was informed there was no other room available and assured that it would be over at 5. Don't forget your earplugs; the inebriates streaming out of the overpriced steakhouse and noisy bar attached to the hotel like to mill around on the sidewalk and keep you informed of their heady state. In spite of the free amenities, do not under any circumstances opt for the umbrellas offered at the front desk! Renting two umbrellas for a couple of hours on two separate days led to a rental charge of $50! Go up the street a couple of blocks to the umbrella store; you can actually buy one cheaper than the rental charge!

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
An intermediate walk and not to be missed: the Aquarium! Take the 5.5 mi walk around Stanley Park and fill your lungs with wonderful sea air! End up at the West End, where you can find reasonably priced ethnic restaurants, liquor stores, coffee shops and hotels. Not as glitzy as downtown, but more down home and relaxed!

So pleased with our booking through
So pleased with our booking through Hotelclub.com.au at St Regis Hotel, Vancouver. We had originally booked for 3 nights but flying in very early decided to book for the day before so we could have an early checkin. I cannot speak highly enough of their desk manager, Benjamin, who warmly welcomed us and had our room ready for our early arrival. The room has everything you need including free internet and overseas calls plus loads of style and breakfast included in our stay! The wait staff in the breakfast room are so attentive and friendly too. Overall, this hotel is a magic find and I can thoroughly recommend it - the location is so central to everything and the Skyrail brings you to within a short walk of the hotel (under 5mins) from Vancouver Airport. St Regis goes very close to 5 stars for their attention to detail and guests' needs.

A perfect Vacation
Well, the hotel (St. Regis) was amaizing. The room was not too big but perfect for my friend and I. Love the attention from the staff, I give them all A+++++++++++++++++++++. Would stay again without problems, the hotel is near the mall, skyline and bus stop and it is a walking distance from all Vancouver downton (if you like to walk like me). Like the breakfast buffet and hot meals included in the price of the hotel. Free worldwide calls are a plusss, free wifi and computer and printer access for free. It was one of the best stays that I've ever experience. Would go back soon and would stay in the St. Regis Vancouver. Would recoment to friends and family. A++++++++

The St Regis was everything that
The St Regis was everything that you want from a City Centre hotel. The hotel was clean & tiday and appeared extremely well run, with a good breakfast, great bar attached to the hotel & 2 restaurants. The staff were excellent and upon arriving we were helped from the car and into the reception with all our luggage and then told that our luggage would be put in the room for us while we returned our hire car. Once we returned I found out that the gentlemam who had greeted us and taken the luggage to the room was in fact the general manager of the hotel. A perfect example of a manager showing leadership and helping out when necessary. All the staff that I encountered seemed to be following his lead and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. the hotel is also located conveniently and has easy access to anywhere in the City. I highly recommend this hotel.
