Glad we picked this place
Location was great. We were worried that it might be a bit noisy based on other reviews but that...

A wonderful place full of character, humor
If you're looking for a hotel with character and personality - but also clean and in a great location - this is the hotel. This is not your boring chain hotel - instead it has a real feel to it (hip, 50's-ish) that's fun to experience. Rooms are on the smaller size but comfortable - and amenities are good with a 42-inch HD TV on the wall, coffee maker, etc. Love the signage around the place.

Decent but no continental breakfast as promised.
The location of the hotel is great but there were a few things that could have been better. Parking was full so had to park across the street-same price but could not go back out of garage and on site parking was expected as listed on website. Free continental breakfast, also listed on website, is non existent at the hotel and staff lied when we asked about it. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely small and dimly lit but they were very clean.

Perfect for the Price
We found the location to be great. We were worried about being across from the emergency room at St. Paul's but the room was very comfortable and quieter than we thought. All the hotel needed was a hot tub in the court yard.

Great hotel
Great little hotel in a great location, either 20 min walk or 3 min bus journey to sky train station (burrard station). Just 10 min walk to Robson street, which is the main downtown shopping area. Hotel clean and tidy staff helpful. If arriving from vancouver airport take the Canada line sky train to yaletown round house station and then take the C23 bus to burrard at davie street. The fee is $8.75 for the ticket, which includes the skytrain and the bus. If you choose to walk from the skytrain station to the hotel please be aware that it is all up hill and a bit of a killer with luggage!!! There is building work going on next door to the hotel where they are building a homeless shelter.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Get you day transit pass from the 7-11 right next door to the hotel $9 for unlimited use of buses, skytrain and sea bus through out all 3 zones for a whole day. You can buy them in advance and just validate them on the day you want to use them.

Great location, trendy and modern
This was actually a nice surprise! Not good if you want the bells and whistles but modern, trendy and great renovation plus I love the marketing. Location is perfect, close to Robson, Davie and of course Burrard. Decent value, a tad expensive but you're probably paying for location! Missing space in the bathroom to get ready but otherwise great!

Really good location
Very nice at the front desk, and adjacent coffee shop - Blenz. About 1/4 of a block from the Sheraton in Vancouver, and only a few blocks to the main shopping area called Robson street. Given the location, the price, and the cleanness, I would definitely recommend it!

Good value for the location
Tastefully redone rooms, lobby with a beautiful center courtyard garden. Unfortunately the rooms are not air conditioned so beware if you visit during a warm summer. Windows open to allow for breezes but they face a busy street. Overall it gave me a great launching pad to downtown Vancouver for a good value. The little touches of free bike rentals, water, and wifi make a big difference.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
This hotel is a short walk to Davie Street and the LGBT friendly part of town. If you walk straight down Davie to the waterfront you will find a lot of good places to eat.
