The Blue Ridge Inns in Victoria, BC is conveniently located across the street from Mayfair Shopping Centre. We consistently deliver fair value, clean freshly refurbished rooms and suites, in the friendliest manner possible, with everyone of our staff taking pride in the service and product provided to our guests. Our amenities include: indoor heated swimming pool and sauna; complimentary parking and newspapers; coin operated laundry facilities; full cablevision and free movies in the evening; on site cafe open from 6:30 am - 3 pm daily; free local phone calls with voice messaging and free email/internet service in our lobby along with in room high speed internet at a $5 charge per night. The Blue Ridge Inns is only minutes away from downtown and offers easy access to bus transportation, shopping, restaurants and attractions. We allow pets, so you don't need to leave them at home anymore.

good value

Plain motel, but room was clean, new bathroom fixtures ,beds comfortable, microwave, coffee maker and fixings included. Small breakfast and lunch cafe on site. a bit of traffic noise, it"s on the main drag, but quiets down after midnight, I live in the country so quite unused to traffic noise.

No room reserved!

Room was not reserved when I got there so did not get my queen size bed. Water ran hot and cold throughout the shower. Room was too warm even though there was no heat on and there was no air conditioning to cool it down. Couldn't open windows and sleep because of traffic noise.

Blue Ridge Inn

Good value. Helpful staff. Older place, not fancy, but fine for sleeping. Small heated pool. Will stay again.

Unbeatable for the price

You get what you pay for

The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also looked like they had a very good indoor pool from afar, but I did not go in the pool. The neighborhood was kind of run-down, there were some shady looking guys in the parking lot, and there were a lot of strip malls in the area. The room was clean, we had a microwave and a fridge, and the bathroom was in excellent condition. However, when we went to sleep, the walls were pretty thin and there was a used car lot across the street with very powerful lights that we couldn't completely block out with the curtain. Basically you get what you pay for. Pros: clean, bathroom in good condition, microwave, mini fridge. Cons: run down neighborhood, across from used car lot with powerful lights.

Try Ferris Oyster Bar on Yates St in downtown Victoria. It's a small place, so it's a bit of a wait, but they have fresh oysters on the half shell, and the food and service was excellent.
