Beautiful hotel
Great hotel. Very nice rooms. We had a lake view 1-BR, which was fantastic. Warm fireplace and very accommodating staff. Also took advantage of the 2 outdoor jacuzzis. Additionally, I proposed in Whistler and the staff was VERY helpful in accommodating some special requests, which I obviously greatly appreciated. I found their customer service to be top-notch.

Great Hotel!
The hotel experience was amazing. The staff was very friendly, warm, and outgoing. When we asked about the temperature in our room (it was rather hot), they were very quick to work on the system and quick to deliver fans to our room to help cool it down. The interior was spotless, and the views were to die for.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
The Lodge was about 2 miles from the Village where everything in Whistler seems to be located. There are a lot of really great trails into town, but be prepared to either cab it or hoof it to the scene.

A beautiful and quiet retreat
Nita Lake is located about 2.5 miles and roughly 5 minutes away from the more bustling Whistler Village. If you're looking for easy access to the retail, restaurant, and nightlife of the village you'll probably want to choose a location a little closer to the Village. If you don't mind a quiet retreat and a short drive when you're looking for fun, or if you want to spend a little less on local accommodations, then Nita Lake is a great choice. Its easy to get around and walkable to Whistler Creek.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
While the lodge offers good food and a nice selection of restaurants, a short walk can yield some nice and more "local" choices. The Southend Diner is less than a 5 five minute walk and features great diner food and a friendly staff.

We recently stayed in Nita Lake
We recently stayed in Nita Lake Lodge for part of our honeymoon and to take advantage of the fantastic skiing/snowboarding in Whistler. Our room was keep very clean, bed was remade daily, towels replaced. The staff even washed any dishes we had left over! It was great! The hotel offers some excellent restaurants on it's grounds, so you don't need to go far for dinner. There is also a very good burger cafe next door, and more restaurants about 300m away at Whistler Creekside, so it is in a very good location if you don't want to stay in the main Village. You can also access the ski runs from Whistler Creekside. It is also very easy to catch a bus from Creekside to Whistler village for only $2, everything is within easy reach from Nita Lake Lodge. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great luxury for a fantastic value
This hotel is a great value for Whistler with nice views from any angle. It is only 10 min from the mountain base and the hotel has a free shuttle service that runs every hour. The rooms are brand new with a big 42" Samsung LCD on a swivel mount, Yamaha soundbar, Logitech Harmony H659 universal remote and free Internet in the rooms. They also have an iHome clock radio that accepts your Apple iPod/iPhone. The bathroom is very luxurious with heated stone tile floors. They also have a mini-bar with a microwave and mini-fridge. If you want cheap & good breakfast, I suggest taking the short walk up the street to the corner of Lake Placid and Hwy 99 to Southside Diner. Much better value than the hotel breakfast.

Beautiful, rooms and view are amazing!!
When we arrived, we were offered an early check-in at no charge which was fantastic. Upon entering the room, it was "exactly" like the pictures shown on the site, modern, amazing, had everything, from a flat screen to a fireplace to a super stone/tile luxurious bathroom. There was a microwave, toaster, coffee stuff, hair dryer, iron, dvd player, sateliite tv, and beleive it or not, "heated floors" in the bathroom. We had a lake view room with vaulted sealings. The Bed was another top highlight. Very modern looking, very comfortable. I have been at the fairmont and several other luxurious hotels, this one is now my number 1 choice! It was quiet and peacefull as it's away from all the hustle and noise in the village. Complimentary shuttle service and complementary mountain bikes too!! Nita Lake Lodge is awesome!

Don't pay to rent mountain bikes from the village. If you are staying at Nita, they will let you borrow them at no charge.

"Beautiful property"
My husband and I stayed at the Nita Lake Lodge for 4 nights. This was an anniversary trip. The Nita Lake Lodge is about 4 miles from Whistler Village. We liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the village. We loved how the hotel was in a peaceful, serene area on a lake. The rooms are huge. We had a fantastic view of the lake from our room - breathtaking. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was large with a separate shower and huge tub! The room was immaculate and spacious! Nita Lake Lodge is off the beaten path, so those who want to be right in the heart of Whistler Village would be disappointed. Also, because it is not right in the heart of the village it can feel a little desserted because a lot of people like to stay in the village. However, for those who don't mind a 5 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk to the village, the Nita Lake Lodge is IDEAL!

We loved going to the village everyday, so we didn't eat at our hotel. We especially liked the Crepe Montagne - yummy sweet and savory crepes.

The Best Accomodations in Whistler!
The staff was incredibly helpful and professional, yet personal. This is a very well made and well furnished hotel - it was so quiet and relaxing. It is a five minute walk to the ski lifts and they have a complimentary shuttle to Whistler - 10 minute drive. I will come back here in a heart-beat. I travel the world and stay at great hotels - this is one of the best experiences I've ever had.
