The hotel is a very good deal. An old manor type hotel with high roof. The location is excellent, walking distance from the interest points of halifax.

Close to everything.
If you enjoy the intimacy of an old fashioned, period bed & breakfast, this is the place for you. Every room is decorated in period furniture but with modern bathrooms...very quaint and comfortable. You are able to walk anywhere you need to be..shopping, meetings, hospital(VG site), restaurants, Public Gardens, Point Pleasant Park, the VISA train station...The wonderful breakfast that is served in the bright, lovely dining room puts the cherry on top of your visit.
