Clean with thin walls

Hotel was clean and continental breakfast was good. I appreciated the waffle iron for a warm breakfast. We came early one day and left late the next to attend a conference at the convention center and the hotel did not have a problem with us parking for both full days. It was about a 15 minute walk to the convention center (and Hamilton Place). Tim Horton's is almost across the street for the die-hard Timmy's fans (great coffee for good price for you non-Canadians). My only complaint would be the thin walls. You can hear others in other rooms. Please remember that for yourself if you book this hotel- others will hear you. Overall, can't complain about the price given that it is downtown. I can't afford the Crown Plaza down the street so this is a great option in my price point.

Great restaurants in the area include Shakespeare's accross the street and Slainte's Irish Pub recommended at the front desk. Both places are VERY expensive for the budget traveler but worth it. The neighborhood is a bit run down but full of Victorian charm and very safe.

Great Value - Clean, Quiet, New

We picked this hotel because it is in Hamilton which is only an hour from both Toronto and Niagara Falls (both cities we wanted to see). Hamilton itself is a little rough, but the hotel is a hidden gem. Staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms were new and clean, showers were great, rooms were quiet, and it is pretty close (only a few blocks) from downtown Hamilton so there are many restaurants and bars nearby.

4 blocks from the hotel is the London Tap House - it was the most delicious food we had in our entire vacation and the staff was great. Upscale bar food for an amazingly great price.

Days Inn Hamilton Ontario

Over all experience was good until check out i was waiting behind another customer who was complaining about the noise as i listened realized it was about me and my friend before she realized it was us she was talking about she had stated that the noise problem wasnt our fault it was because of the walls and linking doors that you could hear absolutely everything through the walls even at a whisper, as i checked out i asked about my deposit and was told if they chose to reimburse the neighbouring room due to problems i wouldnt get my deposit back, the walls are extremely thin and i will mostlikely be paying the price for something that cant be controlled.
