Fabulous location - clean and tidy enough for a good price
If you want a good, basic, clean room that's within walking distance of the city centre and parliament, this is fine. If you want bells and whistles, pay more. The staff were quick & friendly, the room spacious and clean. Cheap parking, laundry. Heater/air con in the corridor rumbled away, but no problem. Overall, just right for us.

Short walk from hotel
Walk up to the parliament buildings, then hire a bike and cycle along the Ottawa river. Brill!

Excellent!
I stayed for 4 nights, it was great experience. almost all the attraction in ottawa are just walkable distance and room was in excellent condition. Excellent WiFi connection. The only thing missing in the room was Microwave. Overall the stay was very comfort and pleasant.

simple, clean, good location
basic clean room, good location, only stupid thing is if your wifi doesn't, hotel says it's not their responsibility , so you have you to call a third party and try to fix it yourself

Great location, better price
It was not upscale but neither was the price, great value with free parking. It is old, lobby and elevator need updating.

Good location+parking,unfriendly staff
We stayed for two nights. Very good location, good size room, it has fridge and coffemaker in the room, very comfortable beds. Parking included. Good value for Ottawa. My only complain is that hotel staff was not very friendly. I forgot a new (not open) box of fancy pastries that I have bought for my friend's birthday a night before in the fridge. I come back for it after 2 hr - did not get it back...

Not bad
We stayed for two nights. The hotel is basic and needs some maintenance work on the common areas. But the room was good inside, clean, and the location was very good, very close to downtown. The room had a fridge, and there are two supermarkets very close, in case you'd like to keep some food or beverages in the room. Parking included, and the parking lot is pretty big. Hotel staff was very corteous as well. Not the place to impress your recent girlfriend, and not super cheap, but considering the prices of other hotels in downtown Ottawa, I'd say it's good value.
