This was our 2nd stay in as many months. Our daughter will be attending university in Ottawa in the fall and we have been spending time getting to know the city. We needed an inexpensive but clean and quiet place to stay, preferrably with kitchenette, close to downtown. Our first stay we came back very pleased.The room was very spacious with separate bedroom, kitchen and living area. A little outdated but very clean and comfortable (kind of like our home!) Staff was friendly and helpful. So instead of checking out other hotels we decided to go back. This time we were completely blown away. The room was again spacious and clean but what really impressed us was this. We returned to the room around 11pm and were met by a full blown party going on in the next room. No amount of sound proofing would have helped. There were at least a dozen people in the room, more coming and going. I called the front desk and a lovely young man said he'd be right up and that anyone not registered in the room would be removed. Previous experience in some of the top hotels in North America left me somewhat sceptical. While I won't give details of what transpired from there, I will say that the young man handled the situation, politely, firmly and professionally and promptly. I had a wonderful, quiet night's sleep. The next morning I was at the front desk when the occupant of the room called and requested a late checkout. They were told, politely but firmly that after the incident of the night before,no late check-out would be allowed. I will continue to stay at the Extended Stay over the next 4 years. A hotel that stands behind their promise of a pleasant stay deserves my business.

the rates were very good I am not a rich person but with the price that I got was great you can't get better than a bedroom kitchen stove refrigerator TV tell you some more cable channels and Fox news thank you

girls night out
Two girlfriends and I rented this hotel for a girls night out in the city. location was good and the room was adverage, however there should be a warning to those with children, do not come here on the weekend, this is a party hotel. Many People in the hotel as well as the hotel across the street we partying well in to the early morning. If I had booked this hotel with my chldren I would have left due to the excessive noise.

Excellent rooms!
The front desk staff were polite and helpful. My room was like a small apartment! King size bed, living room, kitchen. Great place to stay for one night or one month!

Great business getaway
This hotel is great if you like to do a bit of cooking and not eat out all the time. It's in a good location, as long as you like to walk like me.
