Very comfortable
My sister and I were doing a Lake Superior circle tour, and we stayed only one night. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but we were told by locals that it is very good. We did take-out from a nearby Wendy's. The shopping mall across the street wasn't very intersting, but immediately in back of the shopping mall is nice walk along the locks. This is close to the hotel and great. A nice museum about Canadian airplanes is also close-by. The neighborhood was quiet, despite being in the downtown area.

Great Hotel
We only stayed at the Hotel for one night, but from touring the city we realized that we were staying in the best hotel in the Soo on the Canadian and the US side of the locks.

great location, clean,friendly
we arrived early (noon) and was able to check in immediatly. we asked to upgrade, and was given a family suite with couch at no additional cost. Algoma train station direclty across the street, was able to leave car at hotel, for train ride. Great value, friendly hosts, absolutley would stay again if in the area.
