Easy access from the highway

The hotel was very easy to find and was easy access to and from the highway. The only problem I had was the microwave did not work. I forgot to report it.

Great Location!

This place is very near the shopping district and is walking distance to the entertainment district. Public transportation is close by. Take the streetcars that run in front of the hotel. The room is very comfortable and the service keeps your room clean.

get ready for a wait

I have stayed at this hotel many times and expect to wait a while for elevators. There are 4 elevators and it does not matter what time of the day or night, you will be waiting for them to come and pick you up and take you down. I went to get some ice which is located on certain floors and due to elevator work, the 18th floor up was missing the button to push to go up, my room was on the 21st floor. I had to ride down to find a floor that had an up button on it so I could go back up. I waited at one time for over 10 minutes for an elevator. It was explained to me at check out that the problems with the elevators was due to renovation but this is not the case, they are always a major issue with this hotel on wait time.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There are many good places to eat that are very close to the hotel. One of the best places to eat in the city is right down the street, The Keg is a world class steakhouse that is a short walking distance down the street on Jarvis.

Location is key-Primose is best!

If you are visiting Toronto, the Primrose Best Western is THE hotel to be in. It is clean, affordable and the employees are helpful. The hotel is situated in the center of all that is important. Everything is walking distance. Food: If you want Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Middle Eastern, Pub Food, Deli's.....Every one of those is WALKING distance. Shopping: You are walking distance from theatres and shopping centres (Eaton Centre is a 10-15 minute walk). Mill street is only 2 miles or s.o. You can see the CN Tower from the hotel. It is truly the entertainment district There are many subways and banks along the hotel stretch as well. It's an overall perfect place to be situated. I give this hotel a 9/10. The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is because they say they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner but BOTH times I stayed there they only served breakfast. No one gave me a straight answer as to why. The elevators stink too. You sometimes wait 10 minutes for the doors to open. But again, overall, I would recommend.

great hotel

Although we couldn't get on site Parking because of the busy weekend (Expo, College move in's , Italian Festival ) we did get it around the corner in the public lot ,but it was pricy . These are all the reasons my husband and I traveled there as well. We had a great time and the room was beautiful, and comfortable. There is a great restraunt right next store . breakfast was to die for. and priced right ,great service as well.
