Great family venue

I was visiting Toronto with my daughter, son, & 12-yr-old grandson who absolutely loved the water slide & arcade room. The serve yourself cafeteria was clean, had a really good selection of food, and was reasonably priced. Rooms (queen deluxe), while not special were ample and clean. Staff very polite & helpful.

Very good Italian restaurant (new) down the street (unfortunately, I forgot its name). Stay away from the Wayne Gretzky restaurant unless you like extremely loud music & overpriced food & drinks ($18 for a glass of white wine!)

A big let down

They fail to tell you parking was 30.00 a day. They never told us where either pools were had to find on our own. The location was good. Room was clean. Best part of hotel was the bed. It was very comfortable. I don't recommend this place. Another thing that I feel is wrong is that you have to be VIP to get a continental breakfast. For the amour they charge for the room at least that should be included.

Nice hotel, shabby rooms

We stayed for two nights at this hotel for a girls weekend. After the first night, I think we would have written a one star review, but then the hotel redeemed itself somewhat. We checked in at nearly midnight after a long trip through customs. The hotel did not have any double rooms available despite the fact that we had reserved and prepaid for a double room. They stated the number of beds was a request, not a guarantee. We had to fit 4 people into a tiny room with one queen bed. Plus the room had badly peeling wall paper. In the morning we called down to the desk and they said they had already put a new room on hold for us, and would switch our luggage while we were sightseeing. They did just that, and the new room was much better, though still in need of a few updates. The adult pool area was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the amenities there such as the sauna and hot tub. Great view too. The hotel has great other services, such as multiple restaurants, currency exchange, and concierge. The location is excellent, right in the middle of downtown and near many attractions. Overall, I think this hotel, while probably not a 4 star hotel, is a great value for the money, considering how expensive other downtown hotels are. I would stay here again.

Great value for the location. Lobby is always bustling. Plenty of great places in walking distance. Rooms are pretty standard, could use some updating. Bed and pillows top notch

Best for location and price

Upon check in was told I only had 1 room when I had booked and paid for two. Good thing I had my receipt from my online provider on my phone to prove it. Took some extra time but they got me another room. Gave me free parking to compensate ($60+tax) so all worked out in the end.

A Basic Experience at an Inflated Price

The hotel lobby has a welcoming, clean, fresh appearance. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early as they had some rooms available which made for a nice first impression. Our room was clean like you would expect with a nice information booklet on the surrounding areas and amenities. The floor (22) and room (45) we were in were in need of some modernization. The wall paper was peeling or splitting in areas, the carpet was old and looked dated, exposed and visible plumbing in the bathroom, drab inaccessible balcony attached to the room, sloppy caulking in bathroom around counter and shower/tub with visible water damage in areas. TV and Bed were excellent, the bed was very comfortable. The wireless was hit or miss and slow at best in the room and lobby, but it was free. I would say it was on par with a Comfort Inn or Super 8 and should have been priced as such. At standard room rates I would advise staying at the Trump for a much much better experience.

The Atrium just down the street where Red Lobster is. It has a LCBO Liquor Store, food, little stores, and a small grocery store downstairs. Very neat!
