A bit far from downtown but on

A bit far from downtown but on a beautiful location. If you go for the budget room you end up on the back. Instead of seeing the lake. You see a very busy motorway. The noise isn't too bad

Great service, small room, near highway.

Hotel appears very elegant, but room was small and near the highway, but sleeping not a problem for us. Right by the lake so beautiful location. The gym was unbelievable.

Nice Place

Ate at the restaurant for Breakfast and it was good. The room was very small but still had everything. The view faced the highway so there wasn't much to look at. The rooms on the other side faced the lake and would be much more favorable.

It's the staff that matter

My wife and I were there for 4 nights as part of a holiday. The details given stated that all rooms had been recently refurbished. In fact, much of the room was refurbished but there were some patches of paint peeling off the ceiling and the bath was in need of replacement, but was clean. However, the friendliness of the staff more than offset these issues.

upsetting stay

We visit Toronto often and have enjoyed this hotel before. We had a different exprience this time. We were on the fourth floor where they put the Starwood Guests. It seems that there is a party room on the fifth floor and they rented it out for an Indian party of some kind that included loud music and drums. It was so loud that our room was shaking with the sound. Being an older couple we usually retire around ten o'clock. We complained about the noise to the management but were told that the room was rented until eleven o'clock and there was nothing they could do about it. The party didn't conclude until eleven thirty and although we complained again nothing was done. We won't stay at this hotel again.

Stroll High Park. It's gorgeous, has walking trails, and even a small zoo for children. Toronto takes it's parks seriously and we love that.

First Time Stay

I arrived late and left early, but the staff was friendly and courteous. This was a first time stay at a Four Points, but I will do so again.

I booked my room online and when

I booked my room online and when we arrived the bathroom was so small that hardly even one person could fit in it. There was no parking. The wireless in our room didn't work. There was no pen. There was a front desk button on the phone that didn't work and no instructions on how to reach the front desk. We asked if a continental breakfast was included and they said yes. Turns out it was not. Although the staff were very nice my overall rate for this hotel would not be good. I don't think that we would stay there again. It was clean but for the same money I think we could have stayed at a better hotel with better facilities. Also whirlpool tub was under renovations and there is no pool. The gym also needed to be serviced. More then one machine was not working properly.

Hotel is nice enough

The hotel was nice . The best part of it is the neighborhood that it's in. Across the street is a beatiful walking path on the lake. Also note that contrary to the hotel discription you can't actually see the lake from the hotel room. Half of the hotel is on the side of a highway and the other half is across the street from the lake , its not actually on Lake Ontario. The next very important thing is that after I made the reservation I saw I was booked for a small room . I went there on my honeymoon so I requested a bigger room atleast with a view. The conceirage told me that she can't give me a view because the hotel was booked but she upgraded us to a two suite room. It was perfect. The cleanliness was great also.

Freeway exhaust in my window

Very nice access to the lake!!!...I ended up with a TINY room in the back a little bit lower than the freeway overpass...Noisy, tight and at the exhaust level of the cars.
