A good find

We trvel to Toronto four or five times a year, trying to stay in differnet parts of the city. This hotel was not sparkling but it was clean and well cared for. We had an exceptionally good night's sleep and really enjoyed walking in the neighborhood.

quaint and comfortable small hotel

When I arrived, the desk manager was extremely welcoming and helpful. He fully explained the billing and hotel layout. My room was small, but extremely clean. There were no rough edges or worn out amenities. The bathroom was fully stocked with enough toletries and towels. I found everything in my room in perfect working order. The restruant off the lobby served a quality breakfast with a reasonable price. I would stay at this hotel again and I will recommend it to my friends who need an inexpensive, but nice hotel.

Cozy Corner

Nice and clean room. The recption area right off the street could be a little snazzier, as it doesn't do justice to the warm and welcoming rooms that await you. Very quiet. Close to subway, streetcar, parking and within walking distance of great shopping. Cozy and warm. Helpful and friendly staff. Good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. We will stay again and tell family about the Hotel Victoria.

Very quiet in a busy ideal location

For Train travelers it is a good value located only a few walking blocks from train station. Be prepared the lobby was under renovation when we stayed in April 2010 & some rooms have no views (it is wedged between some high rise buildings) but it makes it very quiet & the rooms are kept immaculate.

Good value

The lobby renovation makes it a bit uninviting though the crafts people are keeping it orderly. But the rooms are nice and a good value.

Great location and value

This property was in the best location for the things we wanted to do. Everything was within walking distance (and we are older so don't walk as much as we used to do) or easy trolley or subway ride. Public Transport in Toronto is wonderful. Internet connected computer in lobby was a plus for checking our e-mails.

Excellent location and service!

The hotel is in a central location. You can walk to the hotel from the Airport Express stop at the Royal York Hotel. Easy! Great food on the block-- bargains! Free Wi-Fi and totally dependable. I needed some printing done and all I needed to do is to send the document as an email attachment to the front desk email and the staff printed out my paper. No cost. Staff was very friendly. Only complaint: no room service of the hotel.

Hotel Victoria, Toronto

A small room, but fully adequate for our needs. Very comfortable queen bed. High quality bathroom, plenty spacious. Exercise facilities are off site and were not available early a.m. on weekends. Well located. Overall good value.
