Cuisine focuses on local ingredients and international influences.

Great Choice For a Great Price
This was a great choice for a quick trip I took to Toronto. It was right smack in the middle of Downtown Toronto. Great walking distance to restaurants and shopping. And plenty of sight seeing. One flaw is the small room, but its a hotel room, you shouldn't spend much time there anyway.

Short walk from hotel
When I go to a new city I love to check out their malls. You get to see what others have to offer and the demographic of the visiting city. There is a great mall just blocks away from the Hotels front door. Enjoy

very good location
the hotel was good as I mentioned above, but I was mandatory extra charge of $9 per night as service charge, regardless of using. I expect this amount ($36) will be refunded by you, as it was not mentioned at the time of purchase. I would recommend more transparency, in such situation, and if there is a mandatory charge, why is not asked for at the time of booking?

Good Value
This is a pretty nice hotel. Clean and adequate, but not luxiorious. Conveniently located right on the edge of Chinatown, and near the banking district and a large indoor mall. Highly rated Chinese rest in the hotel, but pricey.

Good value hotel in a great location
The Metropolitan is a good value in a very convenient location for anything downtown. It sits between two subway lines and is a short walk from Queen Street. There is a pool and a fitness room, both basic but seemingly clean. If those are high priorities other hotels might be a better choice. Ask for a higher floor room for views overlooking the city.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Queen Street streetcar - ride the length for a view of many different neighborhoods. (And I have no idea about "dining options" at the hotel as I never ate there, but the system REQUIRES a rating. Area dining was abundant with many good choices.)

It was a great location and everything, nice room early check-in late check-out the only issue I had was that someone pulled the fire alarm at 9:45 in the morning and we were on the 11th floor, but thats not the hotel's fault, will use again! oh and fees and taxes on parking turned a $42 bill into a $60 one
