Wndsor's best just shy of 5 stars
The lobby presentation is impressive. The room was nice, the bathroom is roomy with a bathtub and a separate glass shower stall. There were two spots in the shower stall that had what appeared to be mildew stains, there was popcorn and old receipts under the bed from previous guests. No one under 19 years of age are allowed in the pool area which was very disappointing to our two kids, 3 and 6. The food was good, the staff was great. The free valet is convenient. We visited friends at the Hilton and we were Sooo glad we were staying at Caesars! That place is a dump in comparison.

stay at caesar Windsor
Nice hotel, staff has a definite lack of communication. Checked in & was informed pool was to be closed the next day for annual maintenance. Was to close at midnight, but closed at 10 PM instead, not a big deal unless you design your day to go to pool at 9:30 & get asked to leave at 10 PM. Several other "miscommunications" with staff - late check out, no breakfast served on Monday AM. Overall good time with casino.

Excellent hotel within a Casino
I've stayed here several times for business. This time it included my wife. Room was comfy and classy. Even the elevators were great. View was superb of the River and of Detroit. Small restaurant at the registration area was very convenient, well priced and delicious. Separated from the Casino's noise and activity.

Good last minute getaway
Booked a smoking room last minute. Great staff, loved the included valet service. The hallway to our room and the room itself had an intense cigar smell. The room was really ordinary for a 5 star Caesars hotel, empty minibar, no wifi (only wired). It was an ok experience.
