Cheap and easy

It was a breeze to check in. We paid for our parking and went up to the room to change. We stopped by the car to put the placard inside and had already gotten a ticket. Front desk took care of it no questions asked. The hotel is less then a block to Casino and from A fun night life. We found an Irish pub around the corner and spent most of the evening there. We are not teeny boppers and look for more of a good atmosphere. The block is littered with these types of casual fun handouts. Room was clean and very quiet. I would def stay here again for the price and location it can't be beat.

Perfect location for a night out on the town!

This hotel is the best value for its location. It is about a 5 minute walk to Ceasers casino as well as to clubs such as Voodoo and Sin. Pool was clean and heated inside, very nice. The room was good for the price. I will be staying here again next time I visit. Only negative is parking is not included. Pay $5.00 and park in lot next to hotel, cheaper then the hotel parking. Morning breakfast was decent. Looking forward to staying again!

Turkey Day Weekend Getaway

We've stayed here before and know that it's an older hotel, but for the price, it was a good deal. Location is great! The bed looked like some kind of "flop house" furniture - bedspread didn't cover box spring, 3 white pillows just tossed toward headboard - nothing homey or comfy looking about the bed. Room didn't get cleaned one day even though we DID remove the "do not disturb" sign when we left the room around 11:30am. Housekeeping never checked back even after they left a message on our phone because we didn't answer (maybe because we had vacated the room!) The next day I did alert the staff that we were leaving for the afternoon, the "do not disturb" sign was off the door and would appreciate our room being cleaned. Front desk staff got a little snippy with me. Room did get cleaned though. I don't like paying for parking, especially since it's a first come/first served basis and the slots are narrow, but apparently that's because Windsor owns all lots/ramps.

For a friendly, neighborhood bar, check out Maroon Brothers Bar & Grill on Chatham - 2 streets behind the hotel. Great company and good beer prices! They put on an excellent US Thanksgiving buffet!

I really enjoyed my visit, the hotel is quite close to downtown, all the night life and very close to the tunnel! My room overlooked lake michigan which was another bonus.

great for the cost

Close to bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. If you are looking for luxury you should look elsewhere. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Good for the price

This hotel is good but thats about it...there is no parking outside of the hotel and if you get a spot its 10 bucks but thats the same for if you park about 7minutes away in a parking garage. The hotel staff are nice they upgraded our room for free so that we could be next to our friends that we partied with. There are limited rooms with fridges, which sucks if you wanna chill that beer or liquor for pre-gaming. Although there is ice that you can put in the provided recycle bin and chill it all. For the price it is a good hotel. There are bars and clubs very close by which was a lot of fun, and accessible. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer to use the pool which was nice. All in all good trip.

All nightlife is right on the main strip, which is the same road that the hotel is on.
