It was very modern and inviting. I wish it had a better breakfast then a few pieces of bread and a banana but all in all it was a good experience. They also need luggage carts.

Stylish, but room for improvement
Proximity to airport, cost and room size and outstanding modern room design are hard to beat in Whitehorse, or anywhere. Room was immaculate, and bed very comfortable, and would definitely stay there again. However, despite high-tech heat control system, the heater came on noisily every 20 minutes, and could not be shut down, so recommend to check that on check-in. The "breakfast" choice was a cup of coffee and a mini muffin, so don't count on that.

Friendly, courteous staff
Great location for late arriving and early leaving flights. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, including suggestions of museums. The Beringia museum is exceptionally well done, walking distance, and also has courteous staff members.

Hotel Missed it's mark
Very contemporary hotel. Not yet completed. Doors had trouble closing and sticking. Floors were uneven and every door frame was out of square or not plumb. The builders took no pride in workmanship and I wonder if any building inspection was ever done. Several rooms near ours had to have assistance of staff to get the door to close. Floors were of laminate wood looking and were cold. We prefer carpet under foot in a hotel. No view from the room. Parking lot looked like a construction site with large ruts and gravel. The room was difficult to cool off and the down comforter was too hot, making for a restless night. The bed (mattress ) was comfortable. The bathroom had a wonderful shower (no tub).. The shower was the best part of the room. Parking was easier here than downtown in Whitehorse.

Very nice hotel
It is a nice hotel, The nicest hotel I've stayed at in Whitrehorse so far. It has A/C in the rooms (some other hotels don't) The resturant is very upscale food with some interesting choices, Not quite my style though, but the meal was excellent but the restraunt was warm. They did not have my reservation I made on Orbitz when I checked in but the where still able to accommidate me.

New HOtel in Whitehorse
Hotel is obviously brand new. Furnishings are very modern in design, European in character. Comfortable but not traditional by any standard.
