The Resort was fully refurbished in 2009 and offers Studio suites, Deluxe suites and One Bedroom Suites with luxurious pillow top mattresses, new bedding package and all the modern amenities to make your stay a comfortable one.
The resort offers daily complimentary breakfast and free wireless high-speed internet. Guests can also enjoy the complimentary business centre on property. All the suites have fully equipped kitchens (large fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster etc). The property is also conveniently located close to two supermarkets as well as plenty of affordable restaurants.
The hotel is located less than 200 yards from the renowned Seven Mile Beach. The property has coin operated laundry facilities as well as dry cleaning facilities. Guests enjoy complimentary use of best gym on the island - The World Gym (nearby). Enjoy the freshwater swimming pool, sundeck, beach towels & beach chairs, scuba equipment storage and wash tanks.
Also on property is the Award winning Sunshine Grill where you can enjoy sumptuous and affordable dishes as well as a fun and casual bar. The Front desk team will assist in making all lunch / dinner reservations and booking tours. A friendly & professional team awaits you!

Wonderful vacation
We arrived 5/3/12 and stayed five days. Check in was quick . The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Justin was awesome. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a kitchenette with pots, pans,dishes, even a dishcloth. It had a microwave and fridge. Housekeeping was very thorough and replenished things we needed in a timely manner. Sunshine grill had really good food. The pool was nice, but there was no hot tub.The hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaraunts. A lot of things prices are in Cayman dollars so expect to add a few more bucks if you are paying in american money. A lot of stores are closed on Sundays and buses do not run. Most stores are open 10am-7pm Mon-Sat. The beach is across the street from the hotel..traffic can be heavy crossing the street and people drive on the left side of the road. The beach isnt that shaded but the resort has a few umbrellas and beach chairs at no added cost. Further past Governors Point is a public beach with snow-like sand and the water is so pretty...but then its all pretty. This was a great place to stay! I would stay there again!!

Budget Friendly Hotel in Great Location!
Overall this is a great choice. Grand Cayman is pricey overall and this is the best value for your money. We thought the breakfast was good and the kitchenette was nice for lunch.

Out to see the world...
Sunshine Suite Shines
Great value for the location. In the middle of 7 Mile Beach. Book here, use the saved money to rent a car and see the island. Great Restaurant (Tacos and other entrees outstanding). Skimpy but free breaksfast is good enough to start the day. Friendly staff will point you in the right direction. Family enviroment in a low rise that is safe and convenient.

Affordable Cayman Option
This was the smart choice! Even though we were not beach front, the beach was across the street and very accessible. We could bring the hotel beach chairs with us. The food was excellent. Visitors from the major hotel chains across the street would be lining up to have the food in our restaurant. Very friendly staff. No problems with cleanliness. Rooms were comfortable. Very affordable for the Cayman islands.

The bus and cab systems in Cayman work all the same. So, taking a "bus" allows you to get in a van with barely any other people and get service directly to anywhere you'd like. But it's MUCH cheaper. just be mindful of the bus schedules since they do not run constantly.

good for budget conscious families
This was a good match for our family. Close to the beach and a small kitchenette so every dinner did not have to be out. Good continental breakfast and a nice pool/bar area for relaxing. This is not the Ritz but certainly met our needs and everything was updated and clean.

Awesome!
Traveled w/ my brother and niece and all 3 of us loved our experience with the Sunshine Suites! I read many of the reviews and now see why they were all raving about this place. They have it down. The suites are perfect, the grounds are nicely kept and landscaped beautifully. It is like a small boutique hotel. Where to begin with the staff....the maids did a spotless job on the rooms, everyone was extremely pleasant and the Sunshine Grill is to die for. The food was the best we had on the island. They do a great job hiring.......We had a blast with the servers, all who have great personalities.....Andrew, Nate, Krystal, Kayla, Danielle were all our favorites and went out of their way constantly!!!!! We would not stay anywhere else on this island.
