Great Location
The hotel was great value, we upgraded to club and it was well worth it. The staff were always helpful very friendly and the hotel is in a great location

My first stop in Beijing
Wanted a nice hotel for my first stop in Beijing, and got just that. Classic hotel, clean, friendly staff, Starbucks next door. Besides the air quality in Beijing being awful - and prob being filtered into the hotel, it was a great place to stay and feel relaxed and pampered with robes and slippers. Only bummer was they charged me to use the business center for internet!

Dongcheng subway station right down the block, can get almost anywhere in the city for 2 yuan!

Excellent location
Perfect spot in a safe area surrounded by other high-end hotels. Only a block from lots of shopping.

Pleased in Beijing
Very nice hotel but expect to pay extra
The hotel itself if very nice, very clean, comfortable and in a great location. However, one you arrive, the front desk staff will do ANYTHING to make you to pay extra for a room upgrade, even putting you in a different class of rooms for one night so that you pay for the upgrade. They also push their "club package" which includes breakfast and happy hour. The food is very good, so it was a good thing. But the staff will really work on getting you to pay extras when you arrive.

Great hotel!
Great hotel, clean, spacious rooms very well appointed, and well located in the center of town. You can walk to the Forbidden City from here. The hotel is slightly off the main road so very quiet. Staff was great, everyone more or less spoke English, and the restaurant was decent.

Great Week in Beijing
Nice hotel staff, not a noisy area, close to everything you want in downtown Beijing, and a Starbucks and Irish pub just across the street.

Loved my stay here
ENjoyed the stay thoroughly. Five star hotel , great location and ameneties, extremely courteous and helpful staff who speak English. Only gripe is that it is a little pricey.

Better Than Expected; Would Go There Again
Everything on our 3 day visit worked out surprisingly well, with the exception that I left feeling that the upgrade I was sold on arrival (better room/facilties) did not prove to be particularly good value for money.
