Make my Beijing trip memorable

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. This was my first time visiting Beijing. It is very close to the city center where the Forbidden City and Tienanmen Square are located. It takes about 10 minutes walk to the nearest subway station. It would be hard to do so during cold weather in winter. But fortunately, taxi is always available and not expensive in Beijing.

Fantastic stay in ideal location

The Peninsula was a great experience, would definately book this hotel again - pure luxury. Breakfast buffet very good, housekeeping could not be faulted. The location is ideal, 20 minutes walk from the Forbidden City and the main shopping street., The only thing that I would change would be the instant coffee in the room - for this class of hotel a small Nespresso machine would have been more appropriate.

Asia vacation

1.Excellent, excellent location 2.If you ran into a problem, talk with Nicole, the manager, it would be resolved. The manager tried very hard! Also, the general Manager, Monsieur Pimont. 3.The room on the first few days is excellent, the service slacked a bit after the first two days! 4.The hotel should be a little more generous with the complimentary coffee, because it was hard to get any where early in the morning to get just a cup of coffee. 5.The worker just gave 2 small instant coffee packages every time you asked and you have to ask for sugar and cream, each time! The server expects tips every single times, so you feel like you have to tip for the 2 instant (1 cup) packages, then tip for the cream, then tip for the sugar! it's not the tipping, it is the many times you have to ask! 6. I guess for Beijing standard, it's a five stars because we talked with other travelers and we heard that other hotels were worse!

Good spa experience. Comfortable rooms, but a bit on the small side. Breakfast was decent but nothing special.

Elegance, service and location

Our room was very comfortable and immaculately maintained, with frequent housekeeping and turndown serivce. We used the concierge to arrange airport pickup and also a day trip to the Great Wall. Both were first class and comfortable. We also ate dinner in the two main restaurants and had terrific meals. The location is central Beijing and a great base for exploring the city.

Graet Hotel

The hotel was great, except that the rooms were TINY!!! We had 2 adjoining rooms which was nice, but even with that, it was extraordinarily cramped. Breakfast were amazing!!

What a great Hotel!

The hotel has a fantastic staff that caters to your every need. By far the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Many English TV channels (a bonus for a weary traveler), great room, good quality all around, at a value hard to beat!
