The Peninsula Beijing is inarguably the premier hotel in Beijing for business and leisure travelers, as well as the venue of choice for important events and celebrations. The completion of the extensive renovations in mid 2006 and repositioning under the Peninsula brand marks The Peninsula Beijing entering a new chapter. Having opened in 1989, The Peninsula Beijing has an imposing, traditional Chinese architectural-style exterior, integrated with the ultimate in luxurious, modern hotel amenities and facilities. Ideally located in the centre of Beijing. Make my Beijing trip memorable

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. This was my first time visiting Beijing. It is very close to the city center where the Forbidden City and Tienanmen Square are located. It takes about 10 minutes walk to the nearest subway station. It would be hard to do so during cold weather in winter. But fortunately, taxi is always available and not expensive in Beijing.
