Wangfujing Grand Hotel in Beijing
We were there on a tour. The hotel restaurant was quite expensive and their breakfast closed early. There are not too many good eateries in the area early morning. Lots of restaurants close by for lunch and dinner. Overall, the hotel was great. The staff were very accommodating and we will be booking another stay on February. Shopping was excellent was a short walk close by and we enjoyed that.

Cafe buffet food wonderful. Tried everything during two stays.Exec. room had computer. Used Business Center when ordinary and deluxe rooms did not have computer.Ordinary room had thinner mattress and bath shabby. Staff wanted to please. Only negative was Doorman put us in a private taxi for airport to Shanghai that was twice as expensive as regular cab. Tour company in hallway arranged tours to Forbidden City/Summer Palace and Great Wall. Can negotiate price. Walked to Forbidden City/ Tiananmen Square, art museum, nite market, shopping malls. Shopping malls have restaurants and food courts. Pools in China require swim cap. Cheap ones available. We had very cold weather/snow/dust storm in March 2010. Great Wall was parka/gloves/long underwear cold.

Wangfujing Street malls and shops. Food courts and food shops. Hotel gift shop kept my daughter in noodles.

Amazing!!!!!
The hostel staff treated us like royalty! Very kind and generous. The rooms were spotless and incredibly comfortable. The only problem was that we couldn't turn our heat off, as it was quite warm.

There's a great restaurant on the right side of the hotel (as you walk out of the main doors). Very quaint, decently priced, and delicious Chinese food!

check in時才說,房間很小,可以昇等,但要附差價,多付
check in時才說,房間很小,可以昇等,但要附差價,多付了1200RMB(但包含早餐),因原來以為已經是大房了, 沒想到被hotel club騙了(照片都是假的)
