In Shanghai Salvo Hotel is located in downtown Shanghai, Nanjing Road, the Bund central business area, from the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the Bund, Yu Garden, People's Square about 5-10 minutes walk to reach. Hotels close to Nanjing Road metro station, and drove through the Yan'an East Road Tunnel to Pudong Lujiazui central business district only 5 minutes. Geographic location, transportation is very convenient. In Shanghai Salvo Hotel has all kinds of "digital" business rooms, 600 deluxe rooms and all rooms have free Internet access; The hotel has function rooms and business meeting rooms of different sizes and also provides laundry services and a tour desk.with different styles of Chinese and Western restaurant, Japanese cuisine, lobby bar, 31F top Riverview bar, business center, gym, beauty salon, chess room entertainment, shopping and other service facilities and large parking. Bund view buffet breakfast in 31F .

Good value for the money

For the cost, the room was very nice. The only downside about the amenities was that there was no in-room wifi, although they do provide in-room ethernet Internet connection. Location was close to everything and the jacuzzi sized bathtub was a real bonus. The buffet breakfast was fairly decent as well.

Centric hotel

The hotel is 10 min walking from metro line #2 which connect the 2 airports in Shanghai. The hotel is also 10 min walking from the main shopping street as well as the city centre. The value of the room was fatastic paying in advance.

Nice place

Good location Nice place

Hotel Salvo is conveniently located near People's Square, The Bund and Nanjing East Road. Just across the road from the hotel is a street brimming with cafes, and food stalls in the evening, which is good for those looking out for an authentic Chinese meal. Rooms are comfortable and suitably appointed.

Perfect location, great value but don't expect a warm welcome!

We had a fantatsic stay at the salvo, the location is perfect, just 5mins walk to the Bund and a few mins to the subway. plenty of good restaurants nearby too - in particular - Grandmothers Shanghainese rest just around the corner. The hotel was in great condition and the room was spotless. The breakfast buffet was fine. The only issue was the staff - they weren't particlualry friendly (I know China is not renowned for customer service but still...!). However, I still fully recommend this hotel as it is great value for money.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, NEVER STAY HERE

Salvo is dirty, nasty place. Nothing works the internet was out the phones were out. The staff was rude and unprofessional. Overall horrible experience!!! Salvo lies on its advertising it would be lucky to get 1/2 a star. Travelers beware this place SUCKS!!!

Just ib the right place

A great hotel with an ideal location for all that Shanghai has to offer, terrific view of the Bund! Staff were helpful and welcoming trying to meet the needs of a wide range of nationalities (some who seem to have no manners!). Loads of places to eat nearby, and wine shops and pub mean the expensive hotel prices can be avoided.

Use the subway, its quick, cheap and easy. Look for the booth by the turnstiles to buy your 3 day ticket, not from an automated machine

Good Value

The location for this hotel is great. Room is not "clean" for 4 star standard. Sound-prof of the room is very bad, you can hear what is going on next door. Breakfast is pretty good (including both Chinese and Western food), but spaces (tables) are limited. Do not take taxi lineup outside the hotel. 1. they do not go anywhere except airport. 2. they will try to charge you more (do not pay anything above the meter)

Fantástic location
