Modern, specious accommodation in an up-market district of Shanghai
The 357-room Langham Xintiandi Shanghai is in the fashionable Xintiandi part of town, close to chic boutiques and fine dining. The location makes this hotel a popular choice with both corporate and tourist guests. The 'Champs Elysees of the East', the Huai Hai, is on the doorstep, and inside the hotel are to be found a wealth of fitness facilities as well as the Ming Court and Cachet restaurants that serve up exquisite pan-Asian dishes along with more international cuisine. The Langham Xintiandi Shanghai hotel continues the high traditions with which it started out back in 1865.

Another New Yorker
Perfect location especially for foreigner
Rooms were wonderful and the staff were extremely courteous. It's right across the street from Xintiandi plaza where there's a huge selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Also within walking distance are a number of malls with high-end shops and nice restaurants. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite expensive. Afternoon tea and danish package is nice, but need reservation to sit at one of the sofas.

everything was perfect
from the location to all the helpful staff it was a perfect experience. Everyone tried very hard. When we called room service and asked for a bandaid, it was brought within 2 minutes. When I return to Shanghai, I will definitely stay at the hotel again.

Short walk from hotel
across the street there is a walking street and a mall that has unbelievable restaurants. all of them are safe to eat for "us" tourists.
